We came here for a family celebration. We were shown to our table and a waitress with a very poor understanding of English took our order. After a very long wait our drinks arrived and one went back to have ice added, this never reappeared and a glass of wine was ordered which also never appeared and one of us...

Thoroughly enjoyed my five night stay here with GBtours. Lovely old fashioned large hotel updated to a modern hotel. The difference being the lounge area is large & comfortable unlike many tiny ones one finds today! The staff were excellent, incl my chamber maid who looked after room beautifully, taking note of my requests. Food is home-made, sufficient for me...

I have to state I had a good experience within the Treatment Rooms on 1st floor, i.e. a massage, but that apart, the hotel, other staff, the lift, the afternoon tea, everything as tired as it can be. The FILTH embarrassingly evident on the 1st floor - which must damage the Salon Business. Should someone be walking in for a...

This is OK only if you intend to spend one night. The original room (57) had a "hole " in the bath - which the staff seem not to know about. We were moved to a " family room) 128 3 single beds - you could not swing a cat in the bathroom - If you were a "larger" person...

The sight of the lush greenery in the entrance hall welcomes the guests. The spacious, and airy clean bedroom had a picturesque view of the inner cortile below. The gentle sound of the fountain could be heard when the window was open,This relaxes, and calms the guests senses. The food was of a high standard, served in the dated ,but elegant restaurant. At times...

I had the pleasure to visit Bideford in north Devon during April 2015. I had a charming room with every possible thing you could wish for. The staff were mostly foreign but all spoke with good English and were very attentive. The meals I found to be of both good quality and quantity and were presented piping hot. The hotel...

The decor of this hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was posh and everything looked clean and organised. The rooms have everything you could need including a tv and a kettle. The wifi works well in the bedrooms however it doesn't work so well downstairs and in the restaurant The staff were lovely and helpful. Food was delicious and it wasn't...

Stayed here over the easter weekend, when we arrived are room wasn't ready for 2 hours after the time they said we could check in. Then our first room was very small like a shoebox and very un clean and smelt very very musky to the point where it was hurting my chest. We complained to reception and they offered...

We were really pleased with this break, 13th March for 3 nights, it was a self drive break with Majestic.. Lovely food and staff very pleasant, couldn't fault it, and made the time to have a laugh and joke with you which was really nice.. Yes the wardrobe space was a bit cramped with no door on, but that was...
