Well what can I say, from the day we arrived to the day we departed we felt very at home. We stayed in ‘The Standing Hat’, which was a superb room. We came for our anniversary as you can see from the pictures attached ☺ The wood burner in the room was an excellent feature and fantastic for the cold...

We spent four days at the Cottage Lodge. Very friendly welcoming and comfortable. Sadly Fallen Tree restaurant was closed for holidays but plenty of places to eat locally. Breakfast menu varied and very good and rustic tables a nice touch. Bed made from local 200 year old oak tree, mattress so comfortable - best sleep in ages (asked where they...

Just returned from 2 nights at the Cottage Lodge. What a lovely welcoming friendly place. There were so many great touches, from the parking space reserved for us, the cosy snug with its fire and free tea and cake, the beautifully decorated individual rooms to the great breakfast. Our room was spotless with a lovely comfortable bed. We were also...

Spent 4 nights here on our first visit to the New Forest. A friendly welcome, nice rooms, and good hearty breakfast. The only thing I'd want to change is better wifi reception in the room we stayed in, Tom Hayter. Would definitely stay here again if we're visiting the area.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us. Can I just say that at times the reception for our wifi is a little slow due to the thickness of our walls. If guests pop along to us and mention it we can reboot the router which often helps. We are pleased that everything else was good with your...

We have just returned home from a three night stay at this little hotel. This was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived and parked in our named space, to the moment we left we could not find fault. Warm welcome, spotlessly clean and warm rooms, great breakfasts, and a welcoming pot of tea...

This hotel is perfect. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the room very comfortable. The room, the Exbury, was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The only thing we would say is that the bedding could have done with being renewed as it was torn in one corner and the pillow cases didn't quite fit the pillows snuggly....

We stayed for 1 night at the Cottage Lodge, and wished we could have stayed longer. We travelled by train to Brockenhurst and the hotel was under 5 minutes walk away and a similar distance from the new forest itself. Cute tea shops and nice pubs were also handily situated. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean and luxurious...

Having checked on trip advisor for a dog friendly hotel in the New Forest, I found Cottage Lodge. It looked good and I hoped it would live up to my expectations.
