Such a disappointing few days, so many commercial vans and transit vans, on site, I don't want to have to sit outside my caravan or in my awning looking at Commercial/Transit vehicles, mainly pretty tatty ones at that! Two very rowdy groups pitched in front of us with 'loads' of kids, foul mouthed and drinking from 10.00am onwards. Football constantly...

Roundhill campsite is my childhood getaway. Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend and had a fantastic time. Pros: - came at end of season and the campsite was empty. Lots of places to pitch our tent. - amazing scenery - reasonably priced - beautiful walks and wild life Cons: - the toilet block leaked water onto the ground....

Lovely clean campsite, very quiet due to time of year so had fab choices of where to pitch our tent! Toilet, shower, washing up facilities clean and easy to use. They even have a dog wash room! Cows & horses wandering around was lovely ! Definitely stay here again!!!

I have been coming to this campsite with my family since I was a child and love every second I am here. We've always had polite staff who are helpful no matter the situation. It's so peaceful and a beautiful area of the forest to stay. Clean and well tended to toilets and showers. I can't recommend this campsite enough.

We stayed one night at this rural New Forest campsite. You get an authentic forest experience with gorse, ferns, and lawns grazed by the New Forest ponies. You do not get hot water or up to date facilities. We were woken by the dawn chorus and a cuckoo. There was a generator and somebody playing loud music on their camper...

Lovely campsite which feels like you're really inside the new forest. We looked at some of the higher ranking campsites but they were close to main roads or too close to town so you didn't feel like you were in the thick of the forest. Lots of ponies, donkeys and horses casually roaming around the campsite. Also, not too far...

At first appearance this is an attractive site. It covers a large area dotted with trees and shrubs - and ponies, donkeys and cows. There are no electric hook ups - this is mentioned on their website - however we did not realise this meant some people would be running generators from time to time. We should have thought about...

This is a lovely big campsite so there was plenty of space to pitch. The campsite staff are friendly and effective. They walked around the campsite throughout the day checking everyone was okay, which I thought was excellent. The cows, donkeys and ponies were a highlight. The downside are the facilities. They are basic. The toilets and showers need a...

Absolutely loved this caravan/camping site. It is so spacious and directly in the New Forest. Hot showers and even a hair dryer. Dogs are very welcome and even have their own warm water shower. We took our caravan and 2 dogs - it was fantastic watching the wild ponies running past. Our dogs love this place which makes us happy....

Came here for 2 nights in Aug. We was lucky as the weather was really hot, so it made for a great camping weekend. The campsite had a lot of space to choose from, you simply drive onto the site and pitch up wherever you like. Their are good toilets, showers and pot wash facilities available. Cows, horses and donkeys...
