Stopped here a couple of times for drinks whilst staying in Bude, in October. Very friendly staff and locals. Well kept St Austell beer. Would imagine its a bit different in the holiday season though!.

Only stopped in for a drink and lunch. Menu quite varied. Also a Thai food menu and specials board. Service was friendly and the food was average. Prices were reasonable. Certainly worth considering if going to Bude.

Popped in for lunch after walking the coastal path from Widemouth Bay to Bude. Lunch was very nice. Atmosphere was friendly, however another staff member would take the pressure off the only barmaid, who found herself working the bar and waitressing. Yes I would go back when in the area.

Just had a great weekend in the Globe , large quantities of San Miguel, served by great bar staff . Met lots of other friendly people in the bar plus a Karaoke on Friday . Breakfast was the full English plus cereals and lots of toast , excellent value for money.Hope to be back next August !

My partner and I ate here today and was extremely dissapointed. I had lasagne which I fear was from a frozen packet from Iceland or worse. My partner had fish and chips which again is not fresh fish. Seeing this is a seaside town I expected fresh fish not frozen. We've been in Cornwall all week and experienced great food....

Sat on some very tatty chairs that need a new cover, ordered some food from the very basic menu, then noticed the 3/5 hygiene rating on the door. Should we cancel and go? Well, we were hungry, so decided to wait and hope whatever the health inspector marked them down for, was fixed! My husband had fish and chips; from...

Very pub grub. we had fish and chips , which in seaside town should be served absolutely perfect using fresh local ingredients . However we were served frozen white fish in batter that had been over cooked in dirty old oil! The fish itself wasn't pleasant let alone the greasy batter. Cmon guys , I live in Winchester and there's...
