Spend a good night in the hotel, evening meal was great value, staff attentive and friendly and speed of service first class. The room was clean and adequate and the breakfast was superb, again with the staff being great. Overall I would come back and spend an overnight again.

Drank here one evening and had a great time sat out in the lovely little beer garden they have. Bar staff great! Enjoyed it so much we came back the following night for food. Slow slow service. Only two staff seemingly serving.(The guy at least was friendly, the girl didn't crack a single smile) Had to ask for everything, menus,...

I cannot comment on the hotel/ room facilities but we called in for a bar meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful but the bar meal was one of the worst we have ever had. We had been given mixed reviews before going but decided to give it a try and make our own minds up. It was...

Arrived and left to find room ourselves with minimal instruction on breakfast etc . Room clean with everything needed but found it a bit dated and lack lustre . Must give big thumbs up for waitresses in restaurant chef and housekeeping but found breakfast a bit rushed (was brought cooked breakfast while still eating fruit ). Wouldn't be first choice...

Average food served service but portions served a little on the small side, considering prices charged, cans of juice £1.50 each, waitress good service given, had Canadian family on holiday who are used to large food portions and free juice refills, at half the price here, will not be back anytime soon.

This was a lovely hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including an iron and ironing board! The breakfast was superb. There was a great choice of cereals, pastries, yoghurts etc. the cooked breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful. This is a great location to explore the Trossachs, Stirling, Falkirk,...

Being on Main Street the location is good for all the shops, etc. Our room (3) was comfortable and the recently refurbished bathroom meant showering was a pleasure. It was rather amusing that the old floor was so uneven that objects would slip off bedside cabinets, but that's just the charm of an old building. Breakfast was excellent, as was...

Looking for a place to eat for six, we were easily seated here with a great welcome. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely food. Most of us had the fish and chips - huge fish! Very tasty. My daughter had the gammon and said it was delicious. My husband had the steak and ale pie and said it was very...

Stayed here on a stopover touring across the Trossachs , friendly staff , lovely room overlooking the Main Street but was not a problem. Ate in and the meal was very good , chicken Goujons and steak pie . Breakfast was also very good. Didn't drink in the bar so couldn't comment on the service there.
