Just stayed for 2 nights at Kings Arms, Christchurch. What a lovely hotel. From the very start to the end all the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was very spacious & nicely decorated. Deepest bath I have seen & powerful shower. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with buffet cold & pastries & cooked to order hot....

W stayed a night at this hotel a year ago and enjoyed it so much we visited again. The hotel was doing a very good offer on a Sunday night - B and B in an executive room and £25 per person for dinner for £99. I am not very mobile so phoned the hotel to enquire about parking. Sophie...

The hotel is well-placed, with other good restaurants nearby. The parking could be a challenge in high-season, as there is a pull-in across the road that the hotel owns, but probably not big enough for a car for every room. It could be noisy staying in a 'front' room, because of the grid in the road outside and the fact...

I was checked-in rather late, as I was at a funeral in the Priory, Christchurch at check-in-time, but was able to leave my small trundle-case there (before time) from late morning. After the funeral we had a wonderful Afternoon Tea in the Hotel's Pavilion just across the bowling Green from the Hotel Front, where the families could catch-up with news...

Wow! We've experienced the very worst and, I thought the very best of the World's hotels, but then we came to Christchurch and experienced two night's stay at the Kings Arms ( no apostrophe ). What a lovely room, and peeking into others while they were being cleaned, not even the best! Tons of room, the comfiest of beds, nice...

The food was good not exceptional but good, prices were average for the area, the staff were friendly, professional etc. Only problem I had was that the restaurant was dark, we had to use the candle on the table to read it.

The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and hot. The waiters were exceptionally friendly but not over bearing. As it was my birthday I received a plate with a chocolate greeting and some ice cream. The only thing missing was a little atmosphere, which I suppose wasn't helped by visiting on a Monday night. Wonderful dining room with spacious seating...

We recently stayed in a King room at the front of the hotel which was spoilt by the constant noise of traffic directly below our room. Not only is there a bus stop and traffic lights outside the hotel front door but a loose manhole cover which clanked every time a vehicle drove over it ! We were moved into...

Visited kings arms a couple of weeks ago. Table booked for 830pm didn't get seated until 9pm. Did get a complimentary glass of champagne. Certainly sweetened the deal. Service was sloppy, one waiter had serious BO, another didn't seem to know what they were doing. Food was ok, not amazing! It was ridiculously hot, I was physically sweating. Not nice,...

Fabulous hotel, staff could not do more to improve our stay. However last night fancied a nice steak but sold by the 100g. Smallest piece 700g at £7 per 100g!! £49 for a steak and chips. Had rump instead but tough as old boots and chips looked as if came from McDonald's but not as nice.
