J0annejess0p, Many thanks for leaving feedback on your visit to us yesterday with your family. My team reported that your mother in law had become unwell and was treated by Hilary and the ambulance crew. I hope she has made a good recovery and we would be delighted to know how she is now. Thank you for all of your very kind comments and I am pleased that we were able to make the occasion a celebration of your family member and offer assistance to your mother in law. I have relayed your very kind comments to all of my team. Best wishes Peter Hands Director / Proprietor

Lovely hotel, room was beautiful, had everything we wanted. Spotlessly clean. Dinner menu had a good choice, but my pork chop was not as tender as it could've been, but not worth sending back.Starter and dessert were good. Would stay there again.

Dear AdrianhI51, Many thanks for your review on your recent visit to the Speech House. I am delighted to read that you both had a great experience and that you enjoyed your stay. With regard to the tenderness of your pork chop, It was an air dried pork loin chop which is a slightly denser meat due to its preparation and is not as tender as a pan roasted chop.. It is good to know you enjoyed the rest of your meal and I am delighted you would stay with us again. We all look forward to your returning soon. Best wishes Peter Hands Director/Proprietor

After reading some revert reviews my husband and I didn’t know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised!! Wonderful hotel room did not smell of dog at all! Even though we took our doggie. Food fantastic. Staff were great! Highly recommend and will be returning.

My partner and I are staying with you on the night of 19th August. I only eat plant based foods (i,e vegan). As I understand it you do have vegetarian options for dinner but I find that hotels do not cater very well for vegans at breakfast time as I do not eat meat or eggs and require plant based milks. Can you please arrange with chef that my needs are catered for at both dinner and breakfast, as this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
My head Chef Gareth will be more than happy to cater for your request. May I ask that you contact the hotel direct with your name and date of arrival and ask my receptionist to pass on your details to Chef. Best wishes Peter Hands Director/Proprietor.
