I was filming Saturday and Sunday and needed somewhere to stay near Enniskillen. I booked Willowbank House for its proximity to the town but got so much more. The location is idyllic, at the end of a country road on a hill overlooking the Erne and a marina. Quiet and peaceful the house has beautiful mature gardens and we were greeted by our host Shaun on arrival.
Before getting there Willowbank contacted us to offer to cook an evening meal for us as only one or two takeaways were open in lockdown. I'm coeliac but even at short notice Shaun was able to cater for me. We enjoyed a splendid 3 course meal with teas and coffees afterwards for £20 each! The rooms were well furnished with ensuite bathrooms, there is a quest lounge with a small library and lots of tourism information. There's a separate breakfast room with views over the garden.
A great place for an overnight stay or for a base for a few days to explore Enniskillen and Fermanagh.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. We wanted to explore the area and this proved to be a great base location. Just outside the town of Enniskillen it provides peace and tranquility to allow you to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries after a day exploring. Our room was west facing allowing us to enjoy some beautiful sunsets. The ensuite room was well appointed with a good sized shower and lots of hot water. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced in rented accommodation allowing for an great night's sleep. There is also a comfortable lounge for guests to enjoy and well as they garden and terrace. We had a stroll around the garden each morning after breakfast just to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells. Now to the breakfast. Due to the length of our stay we were lucky enough to sample all on offer, and we were not disappointed as you will see from the attached photos. Thereakfasts were cooked to perfection, there was a sufficient amount of food and this was complemented by yoghurt, fresh fruit, and fresh home baked bread. This really did set you up for your day out. To sum up, all was excellent, we enjoyed every moment and we will be back to visit. Thank you Aoife and Shaun for being outstanding hosts.

We stayed for one night at Willowbank and my wee son hasn't shut up about going back. I've just reviewed a 4 star not too far from Willowbank and it made me remember to give them their well deserved review because they did an excellent job in comparison to where we just stayed and paid 3 times the price. We stayed in room 5 and it was well decorated and very clean. The little touches the owners put makes every bit of difference! Beautiful tea/coffee station with quality items. A bathroom selection of "just incase" items - again just such a wonderful touch and great as a parent to have. I know these things cost more to little B&B owners but I wanted Willowbank to know these make a huge difference to the overall stay for your guests and so Thankyou! Clipper is my fav tea!

I dont think we could add more to the comments already made on the breakfast skills of Aoifes husband - again no expense spurred on local, quality produce. Really delicious and these make us think of your lovely home each time we remember the sasagues and pancakes.

The only downside for us was my husband is very allergic to animal hair and so he was suffering the morning after as we think there must have been something to upset his system.

Everything else, from your hospitality and lovely nature. Perfect! We will be back and reccomend this wee place to anyone. We didn't take pics as the ones they provide as reflective and accurate!

We had a, great overnight stay here, in a beautiful location, superb freshly cooked breakfast. Very welcoming hosts
The extra mile was we left a briefcase in the room and where a few miles away,
Ray new time wasn't on our side and jumped in his car without hesitation to meet us half way knowing we were running behind schedule.
A knowledgeable golfer with local knowledge, this would be a very affordable base for a golf group
I have nothing negative to say about this location, would definitely recommend

We had the pleasure of staying with Aoife & Shaun in Willowbank House during our staycation. The location of the B&B was easy to get to from Enniskillen and nestled away in the quiet countryside with beautiful views of the lake & dock. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by our hosts, shown around the B&B & then to our room which was absolutely lovely-I must comment on the gorgeous smells from the Ranmore Candle Co products used throughout the house, these really added to the relaxing ambience. Aoife & Shaun were exceptionally friendly & helpful giving us lots of information about things to do in the local area, had it not been for this personal touch we feel we may have missed out on discovering local treasures. Our breakfasts were out of this world, so delicious-I would recommend the smoked salmon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willowbank House and cannot wait to return for another relaxing & enjoyable staycation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely lovely stay out in the countryside, but close to Enniskillen. The views out the windows are spectacular and if the weather was nicer, I would have enjoyed sitting outside. Inside, our rooms were impeccably cleaned and stocked with some soaps/lotions made by family members of the owners. My only recommendation to the owners would be to post a note in the bathroom to pull the cord for electricity to the shower. It looks like an emergency cord to an American!

The hosts are amenable to your every need and have thought of all the small touches to make the stay enjoyable. Aoife’s breakfast in the morning was spectacular and the dining area is so charming and well decorated. We truly loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend Willowbank House to others!

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The B&B is spotless with beautiful views. The owners, Ray and Shelley are the most friendly and helpful owners and couldn't do enough to help.
Breakfasts were ordered before 8pm the evening before and were amazing. The homemade French Toast and Pancakes are the best.
The B&B is 2 miles in off the main road but close to the town with car or owners will gladly supply taxi numbers.
Couldn't fault this gem of a B&B. Would def stay again

We loved this place, from the warmth of the greeting to the goodbye conversation.

It was all the little things. The garden was a delight with lawns, rockeries, stone walls with plants sprouting, and lots of little patios. Views across Loch Erne.

The hall in the house included an honesty fridge. You took things, wrote the details in the honesty book and were charged when you left.

The mugs in the bedroom were Belleek, a favourite of mine. There were chunky glasses for our use in the room as well. Hospitality tray good, although it included whole milk.

The bathroom toiletries including hand lotion were in gunmetal coloured reusable bottles with Willowbank label, as was the reed diffuser. An interesting touch.

The lampshade on the ceiling was a pure delight. It looked like a multipetal shaped meringue! Beautiful.

At breakfast there were unusual homemade breads. Once again the crockery was Belleek, not your average ikea or Amazon basics.

Such little touches just made for big time enjoyment!

So let's get down to basics.
The ambience in the building is really nice, well maintained and nicely decorated. The visitor lounge was an additional nicety, comfy chairs, big TV, books games, all in a nice sort of conservatory extension looking out over the garden.

The room was maybe just a bit small but we both had bedside chests, and the TV was nicely placed to watch from either bed or chair. We borrowed another chair from the hallway. Because we are like that.
The bed was super comfy.
There was good storage in both hanging and drawer form

Our room was serviced whilst we were out, which I didn't expect, for a two night stay, but nice to have clean mugs and glasses, and the bed made up instead of the covers just tidied.

I will say that, though I know most hotels and guest houses (and indeed holiday rentals) do it, I just feel it's a bit sad not to have curtain or blind in the bathroom. OK you don't need it for privacy as the windows are opaque, but what would Greta Thunberg say about It, I ask?

The breakfast is pre ordered. You can have a massive fry up or the small one we chose, which with toast was just enough for us. Sausage, bacon, fried egg, mushrooms, tomato and beans, and a potatoey rosti thing. There were other options, and of course the buffet included yoghurt, cereals, seeds and fruit juice.

There is good offstreet parking available at the bottom of the garden. Although there are a few steps up to the property, these are easy to climb with the aid of the banister rail, and the little plants growing from the walls make it no chore

I can't say anything really negative as there is nothing to say. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We haven’t stayed in a B&B for years, preferring to stay in self catering cottages but selected Willowbank house because of its location close to the venue of a friend’s wedding. It is a drive (just 2 miles or so ) from town but the benefit of this is that it feels delightfully secluded without being too remote.
We stayed for 2 nights and after breakfast on our first morning enjoyed a short wander down to the jetties at the end of the very quiet road.
Hosts Aoife and Shaun were lovely. Very helpful, attentive and friendly. They’ve clearly taken a lot of care and attention to detail.
We appreciated nice little touches like the fair trade tea, coffee and hot chocolate and fresh milk in the bedroom and also the local Belleek crockery in the dining room.
Breakfast was a huge hit for all 3 of us. Buttermilk pancakes, delicious locally sourced bacon, sausages and smoked salmon as well as a variety of different home made breads and preserves.
We would certainly return. Our 6 year old is already planning our next visit.

This was our fifth visit to Willowbank house! Shaun, and Aoife are amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure guests are looked after in every way. The Rooms are immaculately kept, and very, very comfortable well equipped with flat screen tv, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. A lovely touch is the little jar on the bathroom windowsill with the essentials we all forget when travelling. There is a lovely welcoming feeling at the house, with a lovely guest room with a great collection of books, puzzles, and games to avail of. Breakfast is for me the highlight of my visit! Shaun provides a 5 star breakfast with Shauns SIZZLER being my favourite. My partner enjoys the home made pancakes with Nutella, and fruit all served in a gorgeous sun room. There's also a great range of homemade breads available for breakfast. All food is served on Belleek crockery (a lovely touch) . The well kept grounds to the house have breathtakingly good views over lough erne, and the surrounding countryside. We have found a little gem, and will keep visiting Willowbank House as often as we can.
