Lackaboy House is a large, family-run B&B on the outskirts of Enniskillen. Parking is provided on-site. Tea and snacks were served on arrival in the large lounge. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast was substantial freshly cooked by Elma the owner. Worth noting that there is a pub/restaurant just across the road if you don't fancy driving into town. This was a professionally run outfit and I would recommend it to other travellers.

We stayed at Lackaboy Farm for one night - we could have stayed the whole summer! Everything was perfect; the idyllic farm yard setting, fresh black and white paintwork, beautifully mown lawns, and bright flowers. A ring of the bell brought a warm welcome from Derek, followed by an introduction to his wife Elma. Our room was ready, spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. Our kind host gave us a lovely afternoon tea - warm scones, fancy cakes and a big pot of tea. Could t have been better. We were also offered a late evening light supper which we declined as were dining out but it was a kind thought. A great night’s sleep in a very quiet location. Breakfast was perfect. Beautifully presented hone made fruit salad followed by delicious bacon, tomatoes and potato scones- with many more breakfast items available for the hungry traveller like my husband! Everything was fresh, tasty and perfect at this charming B&B where guests were treated as honoured members of the household. I wish we lived nearer and could stay again soon. I am sure our friends will be booking as we have told so many people about this gem. If you are travelling in this area don’t hesitate to book Lackaboy Farm. Elma and Derek offer only the best of Ulster hospitality. If I could have rated higher than I would have.

From the minute we arrived we was catered for. The owners granddaughter greeted us, gave us our key informed us our room was ready and the host(Elma) was preparing afternoon tea. We dropped our bags in the double room to the back of the house. Very large in size with a single made up next to ours for our son but still plenty of space. Chocolates had been left, bottled water. It was en-suite with a shower, (bathroom downstairs if preferred to use as you wish)shower gel even provided, bathroom spray, facial wipes and a pot with earbuds, cotton buds and pads. Most certainty more than you expect. Four large towels, two face clothes. We was quite taken aback at the hospitality so far. Down for tea it was, and boy was it afternoon tea with homemade scones and cakes. Tea and coffee facilities are not in your room but provided as soon as asked. We stayed for a week at the end of July and what a delightful week. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit salad, juice, cereal, selection of bread as well as full cooked breakfast if desired. We did, sausage, bacon, egg, potato cakes just enough to fill you. Light supper is also provided between 9-10 pm if you wish in the sitting room. The host could not have done anymore for us, there house is picturesque and they are really fantastic people to be around. Our 5 year old took a liking to there teenage age granddaughter who was absolutely fantastic with him. She always seemed to have time for the little rascal! If a spotless house with fine company is for you then this family oriented house is for you. Well worth the money. Thank you Elma, Derrick and Jane for your outstanding hospitality. We will be back!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lackaboy. I would consider Elma and Derrick a super host if such a title existed in B & B ratings. We were offered hot scones / cakes and tea upon arrival. The house itself and surrounding grounds are beautiful and in a prime location. It is lovely and quiet at night but close enough to town that you can walk in with ease in 15 minutes. There is a fantastic restaurant across the road called "The Tap House", which offered a varied and reasonably priced menu. All eight people in our group raved about the dish which they ordered. I could not find fault in any way with Lackaboy and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We stayed here as it was really close to ardhowen theatre. And it was a working farm which interested us. Even got a bit of a tour the next day. Very accommodating people and so warm and friendly. Clean rooms and a great breakfast.
