Finn Lough is a low-key, luxury hideaway. A place to escape life’s incessant beat and spend time on your own terms. Arrived at reception and we were greeted by Laura who was lovely and very attentive and helpful during our stay .We had booked the Elements trail spa experience before we got to our bubble /pod and our host for this was the softly spoken Nuala who explained everything perfectly and made us feel very relaxed The highlight of the trail is really the journey through the forest to your different spa points and the amazing views over the lake . After our two hour spa we were taken by Laura to our Bubble which is completely private and secluded and a unique experience of living in the forest and hearing the birds singing all around although they did waken us at 4.00 am in the morning The pod has all you require including a Nespresso coffee machine and a retro Bluetooth speaker our breakfast delivered in a hamper is also a nice touch we dined at the lakeside bar and The Barn restaurant and the food although quite nice we felt a bit overpriced .All in all an experience to remember in a beautiful location

Loved this place from start to finish. We arrived for a 1330 spa prior to our 1530 check in which was amazing. The lady at the spa was very friendly and made sure we were well briefed on the experience we were about to have. Wandering around woods visiting the different rooms with the saunas and hot tub was fantastic we really enjoyed it. Afterwards the reception staff who were all lovely people escorted us to our bubble via the golf buggy taxi and made sure we knew where everything was on the resort I.e bar, restaurant etc. The premium bubble dome was well worth the cost even with the clouds it was fantastic. The mini bar was filled for us with a few beers mini bottle of Prosecco. There was a personalised message left welcoming us with a large bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket ready for us. We went gin tasting which was brilliant. The lakeside bar man is a legend and knew exactly what he was talking about. We left here slightly worse for wear! We had dinner at 8.30pm and the menu was very fancy but enjoyable. The staff across the board are great people who just to make your time there as chilled as they can. Little touches like beginners astronomy guides in your room to look at star constellations was nice…..Although it was cloudy for us we did see the plough :)……. All in all great place I’m glad I came across it online. We will be back!! Thanks to all the team at Finn Lough!!!

My partner and myself stayed in one of the bubbles at Finn Lough for 2 nights. Over all it was a good experience but did fall short of the 'luxury experience' that was expected. Positive comments: Staff where brilliant, very helpful and polite. Covid precautions where in place and aheard too. Location was brilliant, picturesque and rural. Very relaxing. Bubble was a great novelty experience, really was something else to look up at the stars from our bed. The cleanliness was A1. Negative comments: Restaurant was closed, and they kept the lakeside bar for food open. Basically they are having staffing problems from the looks of their website vacancies page. I understand that this is not ideal, however maybe it would have been an idea to have the restaurant manned with regards to food than the lakeside bar. The menu at the lakeside bar was just a very small pub lunch menu consisting of a ham sandwich, cheese toasty, vegy burger, beef burger or a selection of 3 pizzas. This is what we had a selection of for dinner for two nights. The food was also served in takeaway boxes with wooden takeaway cutlery. As much as the food was enjoyable, it was far short of the luxury experience that was advertised. Secondly, there lakeside bar also had a restricted drinks menu, with only Guinness on draft. This was because the main bar at the restaurant was closed. However if you are closing the main bar wouldn't you just roll the kegs down the hill to your small bar so they had a selection of beers to serve from the already installed pumps? They did have bottled beer at 5 pounds a bottle however. Quality of the pod. The pod was very comfortable to sleep in and we both enjoyed our time there. However the over all quality of the furniture and fixings was not what I would personally describe as luxury. Just small things such as the edge banding coming off the mdf bed stretchers and such. This did not obviously effect our stay but as I previously said this is a honestly review and I feel the quality had fell short. One thing that was luxury about this the break was the price. Two nights in the pod cost a total of £550, so £275 per night. I would honestly say that I would value it at £170 to £180 per night. It was really enjoyable but the price paid does not reflect the experience. In addition our bar bill with the food included for the two nights was £175. (We didn't even have that many drinks). The drink and food prices where honestly ridiculous. That was a big sticking point for us. Overall: We really did enjoy it and are glad we went, however it was very over priced and the food/drink was big let down.

An amazing get away for couples to spend quality time, enjoy great food and get a good sleep. The bubble domes are a great experience and very unique in Ireland. The staff are so good, and the food is especially memorable. The breakfast being a great surprise.

we had a 3 night stay, 1 night in a Bubble and 2 nights in a Lakeside Suite. one of the best mini breaks we ever had.. such a unique experience that there is nothing else I can even compare it to. The staff were amazing , literally every single one of them, couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent, although limited due to the restrictions what they did was still really excellent. everything was a highlight, and you truly have a magical little part of Ireland tucked away in beautiful Fermanagh. thank you all so much for an amazing 3 days - we will definitely be back..
