Loved the Galleon - what's not to like. Newly refurbished rooms, some with great river views. Staff really friendly especially Nicky and breakfast fantastic - I ordered the fish and poached eggs and wasn't disappointed. Would recommend.
Stayed over with a group of friends (four couples/four rooms) on a Saturday night. Clean, light, airy, modern rooms with a nautical theme. Big bed, comfortable mattress, lovely bedding, great shower, big TV, great location, wonderful river view.......couldn’t find fault.

We visited for 4 nights with a large family group of 8 adults and 1 child. I have fond memories of visiting this pub as a child with my family and seeing a dolphin whilst out in the beer garden which overlooks the harbour.

Absolutely love this place and have done for many years, view across the estuary and Polruan is priceless. Food is very good and reasonable price as well...but all is not well I'm afraid - Carlsberg disappeared off the pump when we were there in June...More
