We stayed here last weekend for two nights in the annexe accommodation, which was clean and comfortable, and like a little cottage. Set in the countryside. The hotel bar, restaurant was very good, food was appetising. Breakfast was great, self service apart from the cooked breakfast which was ordered. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful, even though they were...

16.00 pounds for main meal on what is described as a seafood platter I found very poor value for money I had a voucher for a free starter or desert in which I chose the cheese board such a lot of cheese lol! In regards to my Hotel would rather have gone to Sainsbury's for rolls and fillings

Met family for meal on Saturday couple of weeks ago we were a party of 7. Lovely evening the staff were great especially the lady who served our table. She was very friendly and very attentive without being over the top, overall she was excellent. Our food was very good typical pub food at pub prices. We will definitely be...

went for a family meal at 6pm recently with a party of 10, one being a two year old child. Waiting staff were fine but the time to get food was over 45 minutes not acceptable with a small child. Childs fish fingers inedible, rock hard and burnt, 3 burgers cremated and the rest just adequate. Will certainly not be...

This was delicious with tender meat in crusty pastry served with perfectly cooked vegetables and excellent chips. We were served by the charming Julie with just the right...

Last minute booking with friends for a weekend in Newcastle. Well, Gateshead. The staff are great, room was great. Like staying in little cottage. The food in the restaurant was equally awesome. Highly recommended

First visit but won't be the last. Friendly service, good food - excellent fish and chips including gluten free option. Generous child's portion too. Various starters all good but dessert was a mistake. Nothing wrong with it, generous portions so really have just two courses.

Me and my husband have just visited for our tea and I was pleasantly surprised, the service was excellent especially From our waitress, Bettina. She was so cheerful and polite, she couldn't do enough for us! We both had mixed grills which were cooked to our liking, well worth paying a little bit more for. There was plenty on the...
