We have just returned from a five day four night break at the Grange Hotel and have rated it excellent! The room and indeed the whole of the hotel was spotless, the dinners were superb with great attention to detail. The whole staff were most courteous, very friendly and in fact could not do enough for you to ensure that...

Surprised my husband. Got a free upgrade to honeymoon suite. Had a 3 course meal which was absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money. Would recommend and sure we will go back. Village was a short stroll away. Good location.

Originally erected by the railway as a railway hotel (with the station a miniature version of the hotel in its original guise), the Grange is a medium-sized hotel set high up the hill overlooking the town and Morecambe Bay. Grange-over-Sands is a small town which really took off when the railway arrived in around the 1850’s and it became a...

The hotel is beautifully positioned and for most of our stay was very quiet. However, a wedding was held towards the end of our stay which made a difference! The wedding guests upon arrival monopolised the outdoor seating in the garden and breakfast was moved to another room as the main breakfast area was set up like a chapel. There...

This hotel was lovely, pool and surrounding area was clean, hotel, bar and rooms were clean. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was our room really, dirty teaspoon in the tea set put me off straight away, if they cant clean a spoon what else isnt clean, our room was a...

Thank you for your very kind review and for letting us know that you enjoyed your stay. Sincere apologies for the teaspoon....there`s no excuse for that really. However, hopefully it won`t put you off from coming back to stay with us again. If you do, please mention that you would like a larger room. I have made a note of...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel following the wedding ceremony of our friends daughter. An excellent venue for weddings but that said, unlike a lot of the other reviews, our stay was disappointing to say the least. We arrived early anticipating that parking would be relatively easy, my wife is disabled and is a Blue Badge Holder, but...

Unfortunately, Mr O did not mention to either myself (when I took the booking) or my receptionist, to whom he spoke the following day, that his wife was disabled and that they would require a room near the lift. He also didn`t mention that they would require disabled parking. Although we do not have permanently-designated Disabled Parking bays for logistical...

Myself, my husband and my 14 week old daughter have just returned from a 2 night visit to The Grange. We were there to attend the wedding of my nephew. It was my daughter's first experience of hotel life and what a fabulous start it was! The staff were really helpful when making arrangements over the phone and we received...

Great room with fabulous view. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the impeccable politeness and helpfulness of all staff - everyone. Grange over Sands is a quiet village and the hotel is situated across from the railway station making access easy yet it was set back and quiet.

Usually at weddings the food is a little drab as they have to make so many at once, this is the best wedding meal I've had in years. Drinks are reasonable for a nice hotel and the grounds are spot on. First visit here but highly recommend it

From the moment we arrived for a two night stay this was an excellent hotel. We'd booked a standard double which would have been fine but were upgraded to a superior room with great views over the bay, roll top bath in the room plus big bathroom & canopy bed. Wife loved it. Staff were all really cheerful & helpful....
