Doesn't get any better than this lovely b&b in a very pleasant part of Grantown-on-Spey. Spotless, beautifully presented rooms with so much care and attention put into absolutely everything. Couldn't fault it at all and the breakfast was wonderful, the kippers were simply amazing. Thanks Val for a wonderful experience.

My girlfriend and I spent one night at Westhaven Bed & Breakfast and had mixed feelings upon departure. Positive : - private parking next to the B&B - very friendly hostess - a lot of information available in the room - spotless clean - well equipped room - choice of restaurants nearby - quiet area at night - excellent breakfast Negative : - Interior looks somewhat old fashioned. - Shower water volume seemed unbalanced. - The owners were out for part of the evening and could not be reached by cell. We only had a minor issue with the shower but what if you would accidentally have locked yourself out !? -The mattress was much too soft and therefore uncomfortable. -The room can not be darkened well at night. -Given the comments above we felt the B&B was overpriced.

Thank you for the review. We are usually told that the interior of the rooms are contemporary and the beds are very comfortble but everyone has there own preference. We do have blackout blinds in the rooms so can't understand how it was too light at night. Hooe you enjoyed the remainder of your trip in Scotland.

We stayed here for three nights whilst attending Thunder in the Glens. Val and Sandy are excellent hosts. The rooms are very well kept and appointed and the breakfast is very good. It is located just right for access to the Towns many amenities.

Our room was light and airy and clean. The private bathroom( just down the corridor) was enormous and very well appointed. The breakfast was excellent and was enough to last us all day. The position was quiet but very convenient for the town. Only stayed for one night but I am sure we will be back.

We spent on night here on our way back to Edinburgh and Val and Sandy were such wonderful hosts! They are located close to everything so we were able to have a great dinner and walk back afterward, so no car was needed. Val was so helpful and later that evening we sat and talked with Sandy and had a great time. They were two of our favorite people that we met on our trip. The room was comfy and the breakfast was great.
