As a semi-regular visitor to Granton-On-Spey, I often like to spend my evenings having a few drinks at the Ben Mhor with friends or family. Having now been there a few times, I've gotten to know both the staff and a few of the regulars. The bar staff are always very friendly and polite and they're knowledge of Beers, Ciders and...

These people don't want local custom! They made us feel very uncomfortable from the minute we went in and then refused to serve us after we had 1 round of drinks because " we were too noisy" ! We were a bunch of lads having the craic and not bothering anyone else, just wanting a couple f beers before we...

We visited the bar a few times during our holiday in Grantown-on-Spey. We were staying in our own touring caravan. Lots of things were good about it, a warm welcome from staff and customers, a nice clean place and probably the cleanest pub toilets I've ever seen. The bast thing was the feeling of being welcome, we have already decided...

What a lovely old fashioned pub. It was like going back to the seventies. No TV broadcasting a Football Match. No juke box or computer games. Just a smiling barmaid, two good drinking companions, a couple of friendly locals and a nice atmosphere. I would love to come back at the weekend when the bar is busier.

How wonderful that I found you online! It was at the Ben Mhor back in 1991 that I first sang in front of an audience...and what an audience. The Scottish locals were the most friendliest, warmest people I'd ever met. It was also my first time at a Karaoke! Our 'Alfie' resident performer introduced me a thing called a 'microphone!'...

We had a lovely meal here with our 3 little ones and the staff were very pleasant. They were flexible with the meal and accomodated our needs.... we had looked at a couple of other restaurants in the town and felt they were a little 'stuffy' and might not be very child friendly ~ Ben Mhor was perfect! Thanks!

We stayed at the Ben Mhor hotel this year because our usual hotel could not offer us a block of 4-5 nights. We have visited the area for over 40yrs, first staying with relatives but in the latter years staying in Granton as our relatives are elderly now. We had been in the hotel bar for drinks before but had...

I stayed in a twin room and the room itself was quite small, the shower stall even smaller. However, if you plan on merely sleeping there, it's just fine. The food served to me varied. One night it was satisfactory, another it was excellent so I'm not sure how to rate that. And there is no elevator, but there are...
