For the first time during the pandemic we popped up for a couple of drinks at this lovely hotel. It has always been a favourite and did not disappoint. I did not catch the name of the lovely gentleman who answered out questions on arrival as was an absolute gem, but we were also greeted by Florin and glad to have been so! That man has hospitality in his veins! I wish the new Garth all the best and although we only had 2 drinks I think it says a lot to say after not going out in over a year I felt safe and comfortable is such a comfort to me so hopefully other people too? 😊

My friend took me here for my belated birthday lunch. Not only was it the best food I have eaten out in a long time but the service was excellent and Cheerful. Flo of course deserves a huge thank you for he could not have been more helpful and attentive. Excellent and exciting addition to Grantown eateries.. Highly recommend the mushroom pasta.. Just wish I had snapped a picture... Not to worry we will be back soon 😁

Called in whilst walking on the off chance they were serving food. So pleased we did as the food was amazing! We both opted for pie and the Date pudding - well presented and perfectly cooked. A little too cold to sit out (it was snowing!) however, we did just to wash it down and had 2 drinks before heading backing to the caravan site. Young man who served us was pleasant and polite and clearly enjoyed his job. If we lived closer we would definitely be back!!

Had a lovely meal today, delightful staff and fabulous food. The locally sourced food was very high quality, we had smoked salmon and roast pork. Highly recommended! The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, didn’t see the bedrooms as we were staying at the local caravan site.
