We booked the 2-bed apartment for 2 nights and it was just perfect for our visit to the area, beds comfortable, plenty space to spread out and relax, great shower - and wow what a fabulous breakfast basket - many goodies to last our two days! We always prefer our own space so would definitely use this option again. Always lovely to have a friendly dog to greet us (Jack) and our daughter loved watching the birds and bunnies in the garden and views out to the hills.. The Guest House is located in a really quiet spot (perfect peace and darkness), but handily located for Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey and surrounds. We had takeaway from the owner recommended Grantown Diner both nights - was great! The Speyside Centre at the bottom of the road is also worth a wander.

We had an amazing stay. Thank you so much for having us. The apartment is stunning, the views are amazing and everything about the decor, the setting and the hospitality is just so excellent and calming that we felt thoroughly at home and relaxed. The personal touches and the gorgeous food were just brilliant. We feel as though we needed more time and would love to come back. We feel so lucky to have been the first visitors in the newly created apartment. It’s beautifully well done.

Thank you so much for your kind words - they mean a lot to us and show that our guests can enjoy the apartment setup just as we intended - Home in the Highlands. We couldn’t have asked for nicer first guests after reopening and we hope you will come back to see us 😊 Best wishes from Nadia and Gary!

My Wife and i spent 5 nights at the Rosegrove Guesthouse, and i highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the Cairngorm National park/Scottish Highlands. Very reasonable room rates, with a variety of cooked or cold breakfast to choose from, complimentary tea/coffee in the rooms. The rooms are bright and modern and spotlessly clean, and most have en-suite facilities, also its extremely quiet and peaceful. The owners are super friendly, and happy to help with advising of good places to visit locally, nothing is too much trouble for them. The guesthouse is 5 mins by car from Grantown on Spey, that has a variety of good eateries and shops, and about 10-15 mins by car to Aviemore which also has a variety of bars/resteraunts and shops, you can also access the cairngorm mountain/Rothiemurchus from here, where there are a variety of both winter and summer sports/watersports available. All in all,the Rosegrove is a home away from home, and recommended to everyone. We will definitely return again.

We had an ensuite which was lovely and had a very nice view over the countryside. The host was very friendly and gave us good tips to visit the cairngorms national park. Breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend.

I have been a guest at the Rosegrove each easter for the past 7 years,my husband has been coming here for twice as long! Nadia the (newish) owner is a wonderful, bubbly warm and friendly lady, with a great sense of humour, and nothing is ever too much trouble for her(she also speaks at least 3 languages ) .I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting gary, but thats something to look forward too! Over the last year some internal improvements have been done which are lovely. The breakfasts are plentiful, and delicious, theres a variety of cooked breakfasts ranging from A fry up,to porridge and pancakes, ther's also a wide choice of cereal, fruits and yogurts, and endless rounds of tea and toast, easily keeps you going until lunchtime. The rooms are clean and bright and all but one are ensuite, and there are also tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, with complimentary packs of crisps and shortbread and bottled water. The location is in Skye of Curr which is basically a quiet country road with lots of fields and woodlands,so absolutele peace and tranquility, and stunning views of the cairngorm mountain, and surrounding area. They are also pet friendly, and they have the most beautiful dog,who i have totally fallen in love with.....The rosegrove is only 10 mins drive from both Grantown and aviemore, and boat of garten all three of which have some excellent resteraunts, and gift shops. Also there are various centers around the area which host all kinds of winter sports, but i'm unable to comment on that, because we go to birdwatch and see nature at its finest,we have no interest in skiing, but for those that do,excellent facilities can be found at the summit of cairngorm(which is an excellent spot to view Ptarmigans)......and bunnies, and deer and all kinds of beautiful animals and birds, anyway Lovely Nadia i give you 100 out of 10,and look very much forward to visiting again, thankyou very much, jen and gary :)
