Detailed Reviews
Lovely stay!! Room was cosy and clean. Bed was comfy with plenty of amenities including some very comfy bathrobes! We had a private bathroom across the landing from our room on the top floor which was wonderful 😁 shower and large bathtub was included with a fab selection of products (which I used in the bath ☺️) Plentiful options for breakfast and was delicious. Thank you Stephen and Ginny for being such friendly and accommodating hosts!

We've had some interesting experiences while in Scotland but staying here is not "interesting", it is FABULOUS. Stephen and Ginny are wonderful, caring and considerate hosts who want you to enjoy their home and the surrounding area.
The size of the house with it's wide hall and staircase gives you a sense of space and room to move which is welcoming in itself. Our room is very comfortable with not only tea and coffee available but some mints, toffees etc. The bathroom is good with a great shower and there are robes in the wardrobe.
Based on everything else, our expectations at breakfast were high and we were not disappointed. You choose the night before and somehow Stephen has committed your order to memory!! Ginny was busy in the kitchen and our breakfast was perfect with lots of checks to make sure we had enough of everything and were satisfied. We didn't actually feel hungry again until about 3pm!!
After breakfast during which we were asking questions... Stephen got out a map and took time to explain the area and historical sites/events so we could plan what we could do with our two days and he also lent us an OS map to use for our time here. We had planned a short local walk but based on his enthusiastic input, we changed and ended up seeing so much more and having a wonderful walk.
We cannot compliment our hosts more than to recommend them to you and say we will be back!!

As part of our Scotland tour we stayed two nights at Dunallan House. We had a family room with a double bed and two single beds. The room was extremely clean, though a bit small for the four of us. We were received extremely friendly, Steven (the host) gave us a variety of tips for excursions and was also otherwise decidedly friendly and entertaining. His wife takes care of everything. Breakfast was excellent.

Dunallan house is a well run B&B. The house is clean, and nicely appointed. The bedroom was a decent size, and the bathroom was recently updated. The area is a quiet neighborhood street near wooded walking trails and a few minute walk to the shops.

When we arrived we had a warm welcome from Virginia as if we were family. Our room was very clean and comfortable plenty of tea and coffee after a long journey. We met Stephen later on and it was the same as if we were long lost family. The breakfast was excellent and could not fault the service. Stephen also gave us plenty of advice where to visit in the area. I would recommend that if you are looking for value money with above excellent service look no further than Dunallan Guest House. If we are ever up in this area of Scotland again it would be our first choice. Thank you Virginia and Stephen for a wonderful and relaxing stay you really made us feel welcome. Hope to come back one day.

Recently returned from a 2 night stay at this Guest House. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure that everything we needed was on hand. The owners are very knowledgeable about the local area and recommended sites and places to visit. The accommodation is ideally situated a short walk to the High Street but also the beautiful wooded walks near the Spey River.

Our Stay at Dunallan house was probably the nicest B&B experience I've had. The house is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and they had a good choice of options available each day. However, what was genuinely touching, was just how helpful, friendly and considerate the owners are. They're a lovely family and I hope to be able to stay again in future.

If we had not had a reservation, we would have driven onwards as the external gardens are a mess, and the paint is peeling on the exterior. The hall and stairways are dark and dull. But the owners Steve and Jenny do try very hard to make one welcome, but someone does need to tell Steve to let them eat their breakfast in peace without constant interruptions. Our room, though small, had everything one could wish for, the cooked breakfast was OK but never hot, but the Wifi was great!

Ginny and Stephen made us very welcome.
The lovely house has very comfortable en-suite rooms, they have thought of everything even bath robes. The bathroom we had was very well appointed with a power shower. A large bedroom with a very comfortable bed affording us one of the best nights sleep we have had for ages helped by the highland air and a wee dram !
Great Scottish breakfasts with plenty to choose from.
Ginny and Stephen had even checked with local restaurants to confirm who was serving food and from what time in the evening.
A very relaxing couple of nights, only wish we could have stayed longer.
