This B&B is simply fantastic, from the hugely welcoming owner Anne who was exceptionally friendly despite us checking in late, to the high quality finish and furnishings of the whole house including the guest rooms. The breakfast was delicious and a great variety, freshly prepared to order. The room was spacious and exceptionally comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time at the Spey. Room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Anne and Neil were perfect hosts. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Well located for us as the golf course is a stones throw away. Very quiet at night. Town centre is only 5-10 mins walk. A few really good restaurants in Grantown but best book in advance, especially Sunday evening.

If 6 stars was available that would be my vote! The best complete hospitality I have ever enjoyed. Anne has an incredible skill of making your stay perfect while utterly relaxed at the same time. There is absolutely nothing I could fault about The Spey. Never said that about anywhere before,

Our stay at The Spey made up part of our honeymoon. Anne and Neil were wonderful hosts, so friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect for local walks, but just a short drive away from other options. It was also close to the main street where restaurants etc were available. Our room was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean and offered all amenities that you would need for a stay. The view of the Cairngorms was wonderful and could be enjoyed with a tea/coffee and free biscuits! Ordering breakfast the night before was a handy option and the variety of food was great. It made for a very personal dining experience. All food that we ordered was delicious, well cooked and the portions were sufficient. We cannot rate our stay highly enough and will definitely be back, perhaps to celebrate our anniversary!
