Free WiFi is available in all areas of the Guesthouse and we have a private car park. Willowbank is located within the Cairngorms National Park, an ideal location for walking, fishing, wildlife watching or to visit Aviemore & Cairngorm Mountain. You can also visit one of the Castles or Whisky Distilleries nearby. We have 9 guest bedrooms, 6 en-suite and 3 rooms with separate private bathroom. We look forward to provide you a warm welcome!

The communication, helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts was vey much appreciated. The guesthouse is well placed for exploring the Cairngorms, the Glenlivet Estates, and the local area. We did many walks and cycling from here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Willowbank was very clean and the adoptive manner to meet covid requirements was well implemented and very innovative. Times to return to the room were restricted to help with sanitisation, however this should not be ignored and seen as a positive measure during the current situation. The room (we had an upgrade thank you), was spacious and the bed was very comfy. We found that the breakfast served here was probably the best of our holiday, thank you. We would highly recommend and will try to return when we can; it is a great place to stay and you know you are going to leave well nourished for the days activities. Many items have been removed from rooms to assist with sanitisation and ease of cleaning. Parking is available on site, even if you have you to navigate the narrowest entry to gain access. The owners were perfect hosts and we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a comfort room it was spacious absolutely spotless and the most comfortable bed .The hosts were delightful and we felt safe with their COVID protocol. We picked what we wanted for breakfast from a checklist and WhatsApp it to the
owners and we were given a timeslot. The Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. We would recommend Willowbank to everybody. The location is good as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Arrived at 2.40pm, wasn’t allowed in to use toilets in our rooms, was told to find public toilets in town after a 4 hr drive. Owner was not friendly, check-in is between 4 -7pm we had 2 double rooms booked, sign outside said they still had vacancies. Cancelled and found alternative accommodation but were still charged the full amount for 2 rooms £180, even though we were never over their door.

Jan and Janny are very welcoming hosts and the accommodation is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean .

The Guesthouse Willow Bank is without doubt the most pleasant place where we stopped, with my wife and four American friends, for one night during our recent long trip to Scotland.
The village and countryside are magnificent, the accommodation and breakfast (included in the total price of £ 90 for two) are exceptional in cleanliness, quality and service. More than anything else I was moved by the constant availability and discretion of the managers. Thanks to them, from the heart !!

Clean, comfortable, tasty breakfast with many choices and sufficient to set us up for our day’s cycling. Jan & Janny are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. We were caught in the rain and got soaked and they offered to dry our jackets and they were ready to wear again the next morning.

Very friendly owners. Clean and comfortable. Unfortunately our bathroom wasn’t on the same floor as our room, but at least we had our own.

Just had a couple of nights stay here from 24th July, till 26th July with some friends. Room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfy and breakfast was excellent. The couple who have this guesthouse are very friendly and I would highly recommend this place to stay

Had a lovely one night stay on the way somewhere else. Kindly accepted me checking in later than advertised and from then on were courteous and efficient. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. The breakfast excellent.

Thunder in the Glens is mainly celebrated in Aviemore, which is a 30 minutes drive. Part of the event takes place in Grantown on Spey on High Street and The Square, which is a 5 minutes walk from our guesthouse
