We stayed here for 3 nights, including The Burns Supper and Ceilidh, which was great fun. The room was comfortable and warm. Ensuite had great bath and loads of hot water. Dinner menu was varied and food well cooked, and the breakfasts were huge and more than plenty to last the day. Staff are friendly and welcoming and it is...

I stayed here for 3 nights the end of January and the beginning of February. We received a warm welcome from the smiling receptionist, who was very helpful. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are also a very good size with a large deep bath and a shower with plenty of hot water. The room has a kettle and...

We had a four night stay here. The place was lacking guests and therefore atmosphere but that's not their fault. The food was superb. The VFM superb. Would recommend the place for the food if nothing else. Bedrooms are typically British hotel type and size. (Small and a bit stuffy) you need the window open to get a good nights...

Our room was at the back of the hotel, it was a good size and very warm and it was always...

Just a one night stay while on a short business trip but was very comfortable and good value. Reception and breakfast staff were very pleasant. I didn't eat here - although the menu looked very nice it was out with the price range of my business allowance unfortunately. A beer at the bar was reasonably priced and they looked to...

We had a wonderful time on our third visit to the Grant Arms; so much so that we have booked another visit in June 2014. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was excellent including a picnic dinner when we had to miss dinner because of an evening visit to "the hide" to see pine martens and badgers. For any...

Stayed here for three day Hogmanay special and thoroughly enjoyed. Room in the extension at the back of the hotel was comfortable with good facilities. I was invited with my 11 year old daughter to spend Christmas here with my parents. We had a fantastic four night stay from 23rd to 27th December over the Christmas period. David and his staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed. The food ..... well...
