This was my first stay at this Premier Inn and I wasn’t disappointed. Large free car park. Friendly staff who made you feel very welcome. The room was absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean. The hotel is right on the seafront so I had a fantastic view when opening my curtains in the morning. Could not fault my stay.
We stayed here this weekend for the second time since the hotel opened and it is genuinely my favourite Premier Inn. It is clean, comfortable with spacious family rooms and lovely sea views. The parking on site is free which is great in a seaside resort as it meant we could walk off to the local attractions when we wanted to. The staff even kindly let us leave our car for a few hours after we checked out so we could have a bit more fun out and about. The staff were all really helpful and made us feel very welcome. We also ate at the Beefeater which was a lovely restaurant. We will most definitely be back!
A very strange time to visit of course, a two night stay whilst on "key worker" duties in the area. Such a pity my first visit was at this time with no bar or restaurant open due to COVID -19 regulations but I will be back soon. The car park was great, room was spotless and all of the staff I came into contact with (socially distanced of course) were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back in normal times.
Pre booked this break for me and my mum and child, upon arrival be had to wait a couple of hours till we were able to be located to our room, upon entry we struggled to work the lights for the bathroom and discovered sand and hair remaining on surfaces as well as a dirty towel and a fly in the room, I contacted the staff and they said oh a gnat I said no a fly a big black fly, no looked as me as if I was stupid, they said they'd see to the gnat, im guessing their reply was because they had a lengthy queue of guests waiting for assistance. On return to room a couple hours later the fly remained so we shut it into the bathroom, my mum is disabled so we were exhausted and just wanted to rest, after a long few hrs journey. The beds were very comfy and I cannot fault the sleep at all, the air con turned of itself quite often which was annoying but easy to sort, room cleaning did not happen (covid was the excuse) but I often saw them tending to many other rooms but ours so by the time we had stayed the week the bin was full up and the towels all used. It was frustrating that I had to keep going down 2 levels to ask for a tea bag or some milk. Or a clean cup! Overall I won't be choosing to stay here again, for more than one reason but another main reason being that the location is very far from the main attractions *apart from the wide stretched theme park, and it was difficult walking the long distance for my disabled mum and young child.…
