We stayed with Julie and Gary for 2 nights in Great Yarmouth. They made us feel very welcome during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Highly recommended

Lovely time, Gary and Julie were fantastic as always and breakfast was outstanding (the wife loved her eggy bread with cheese and beans and I had what ever I fancied but always with Julie's hash browns, just sets you up for the day ahead), now feels like a home away from home, next year already booked for our wedding anniversary, can't wait

I chose this guesthouse based on the excellent reviews and I'm soo very happy that we chose this place. I wanted to stay somewhere relaxing and be by the sea and stay somewhere not too expensive, this place ticks all of those boxes and more. I am well travelled and have stayed in 5 star hotels over the other side of the world that are not as clean or as welcoming as this place. The guesthouse is on a quiet road and it's less than a 5 min walk to the sea and the promenade. You have some friendly cheap pubs round the corner, you are a 5 min walk to town. It's only a 15 min walk from the train station, nice easy walk, they couldn't collect us due to Covid but normally would have. we are fine with walking, so it was absolutely fine with us. We stayed in room 3, it was spotlessly clean, we had lovely soft white bed sheet towels, lovely clean shower, toiletries, fridge, bottle of water, a massive tea tray with biscuits, loads of tea, coffee, hot choc, herbal teas, etc, it was soo full. Homemade lemon muffins, made by Julie were yummy. fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was out of this world, everything is fresh and made to order, presentation is amazing and the potion sizes are massive. They went out of their way to go the extra mile for us, but they do this for everyone. They got vegetarian bacon and sausages for us, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated, nowhere we have stayed before ever did this for us, it was a really lovely touch. I can't reccommend this place enough and Julie and Gary treat you like friends you have known for years, julie calls you by your name and they are both the best hosts you could ever wish for. if you are coming to Yarmouth please stay here, you will not be disappointed. I must mention all the covid precautions they have in place are amazing and make you feel very safe and at ease, Julie explains it all to you and makes you feel very safe and at ease. If you like walking go to Gorleston, the beach is lovely and it's pretty.

Recently had another excellent 10 night stay at the Kilbrannan. I've lost count how many times we have stayed here now which should say it all but every time has been perfect. Obviously things were slightly different this time due to Covid (aren't they everywhere) but nothing drastic or hard and most of all we felt very safe while we were staying. Gary and Julie have gone out of their way to make sure everything is done as safe as it could be including hand sanitiser in numerous places, staggered breakfast times so you're never too close to anyone else, keys given to you in a plastic bag and of course extra deep cleaning is being done everywhere. If you are worried at all about travelling to Yarmouth and staying somewhere then don't be you will feel safe staying here. All the rooms in the Kilbrannan are beautiful and very roomy and all well equipped with the essentials you need. And Gary and Julie always go out of their way to help you with anything you may need. Breakfasts are the best in Yarmouth I'm sure and there is so much choice you will be spoilt. Great position for all seafront attractions where all the businesses are in the main following all guidelines and we didn't feel too worried at all. Help keep Britain and most of all Great Yarmouth and the Kilbrannan running by booking a visit now. Thanks Gary and Julie for our lovely stay as always.
