This is a great location in the middle of knutsford with its own car park so very convenient. The pub is very nice good atmosphere and the breakfast was good. The accommodation was average and needs updating. The bathroom had some mould and the shower over the bath was very weak so not a good start to the day. The...

Place is overpriced for the standard of the rooms. Positive comments: Bed was comfortable, and bedding/towels were clean. Negative comments: Television had no signal, wifi was not working. Shower terrible Bottled water in room but no glasses. Headboard loose on bed. Room 'tired' in need of decoration Net curtains freyed. Didn't bother stopping for breakfast. Went to hand keys back...

I cannot recommend this dreadfully ran down establishment ...in dire need of a renovation / make over. The only three redeeming things, preventing a ' one ' score....were, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable bed /bedding and clean nice towels. Every other aspect really AWFUL.

TV in room missing for 2 weeks per previous review, staff claimed to know nothing about it. Lock to door didn't work. Room smelled & was dirty. Slept in a cupboard in the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Didn't bother with breakfast after reading previous reviews. No wonder you pay up front in this hotel, stay away!!

Instead we had cold beans which were sent back and returned later still cold. Most of us had finished by the time the beans came back. Toast was...

This is a pub right in the middle of town with a number of rooms (12?) above the bar. Stayed here mid week. It's a nice pub in itself with decent beers on. It's a very friendly pub - the staff are only too pleased to help. Rooms are perhaps a little tired, but it's offset by the fact that...
