This is the worst hotel we've stayed in. I don't mind dated but this was scruffy, shabby and felt dirty. Holes I walk behind the bed, curtains falling of the rail and fraying carpet! No amount of free biscuits can make up for the fact that this is not a good place to rest your head!

I recently stayed here for one night before an early flight from Manchester thinking it would be a great start to my holiday, with a range of bars and eateries nearby to enjoy. The Cross Keys pub / bar area is lovely: modern, cosy, friendly, lovely staff. Can't fault it. However behind the public area the style takes an immediate...

A soulless pub with poor staff and the room was unbearable! I had a single bed for work which was more the size of a coffin. Thinking about it a coffin would have probably been more comfortable! The room was in the attic effectively and meant that you couldn't get round the bed without having to duck under a low...

Very good stay, great value for money, we stayed in room 1 in the annex buildings at the rear, they are in slight need of an update, room was clean and spacious but bathroom may have been missed in the clean before we arrived as there was a build up of cobwebs by the radiator. Staff were very friendly as...

Room was sweltering and poorly ventilated. Uncomfortable pillows. Room was tidy but dusty. Grouting in bathroom full of black mould, and seal on bath had gone. Fans in kitchen started up at 7am. Curtains did not fully fit the windows and let in light.

Lots of other hotels in the area claim to be in Knutsford but they're not! The Cross Keys is right in the middle. The only problem we had was finding the car park as the access is in a street at the back of it! The receptionist advised me to walk through it to the other end and this made...

Accepted for what it is - a pub / restaurant offering accommodation - the Cross Keys, for me, represents good value for centre of Knutsford. Rooms are what you would expect - yes maybe a little dated but functional, however on a cold evening in February the room was warm and bed comfortable. Food in Bar / Restaurant was average...

Visited with hubby & in laws for evening meal & drinks. I would say its as you'd expect for a pub really, most people there for drinks on a Saturday evening. Although food is served until 9.30 I felt out of place eating in the middle of a busy pub at 7.30. The wine was nice enough, and so was...

There were nine of us thirsty and hungry souls wandering around this lovely town when we came across The Cross Keys and we were mighty pleased we did. Looking very traditional from the outside it was a bit more modern inside and we received a great welcome from two members of staff. We were able to try some beers before...
