What a lovely place. I stayed here 2 nights as I was attending a wedding at Springkell. When I arrived the first night the young gentleman that greeted me could not have been more helpful, asked me if I wanted some food and could he take my bags to the room. Room was comfortable and clean and had a lovely...

Stayed here last night, old fashioned sandstone hotel, very traditional inside, no lift to any floors. Received a very warm welcome from the staff, bedroom was basic but clean and well looked after, small bathroom with shower which was excellent, only issue was no tea and coffee facilities in my room, my son had them in his room so suspect...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Cressfield. The rooms are comfortable (had a double room), food is great and most of all, the staff and owners are just wonderful. They were always there to go the extra mile. Loved it.

I use this hotel frequently when I'm travelling for business. The rooms are very well presented and the beds are comfy. The staff are exceptional and the food is fantastic. Not much else to say really apart from book early to avoid disappointment.

As a fellow business in Ecclefechan we like to support each other. This time it was Lynzie Birthday Bash so all of our staff decided unanimously that we would once again treat our selves as well as Lynzie to one of Cressfields lovely meals. So all 10 of us walked in and unfazed Ian welcomed us all. Once drinks had...

We found this hotel quite by accident, and it was a happy accident. The room was comfortable and had a fine view from the 3rd floor. The bath was rather small, but adequate. There is a popular pub and restaurant downstairs that served a good selection of local beers, and a good dinner. The breakfast was the best I've had...

Lovely hotel just minutes from the M74. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and menu was varied. Dogs are welcome and there is a good dog walk close to the hotel. We stayed in room 7 which was beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless. Only negative was it was on the top floor.
