I stayed at Lochfain lodge for a month while working on Loughborough. Julie couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Its very much a home from home Highly recommended. The location is lovely. Close enough to Leicester, Nottingham etc. but out in the country too.

I stayed from Jan 14 right through to March 14, on contract. I have worked in many different types of accommodation all over the UK and never have I experienced such wonderful hospitality or hart felt welcome. It is bad enough to work away from home, but this place makes up for working away, just a shame that my partner...

Initially booked for three nights while working shifts in February and have stayed every week since. Clean, comfortable, spacious and peaceful, just like home it has everything I need in addition to a friendly and hospitable host. After staying in other hotels/b&bs in and around the midlands whle working on contracts this tops them all, I am here to stay...

Great place and very welcoming i was made to feel like I was at home. ideal for what I needed. would definitely stay again best nights sleep iv had in ages. I would definitely recommend for shift workers as there was no noise

I stayed at Lochfain Lodge for 1 night whilst working in nearby Melton Mowbray. On arrival I was greeted by Julie the owner who took me to my room. Then Julie recommend where was nice to eat drink in the area which was very helpful, but due to work calling me early for night shift I didn’t get the chance...

Unfortunately all of what was said was true - I had undergone spinal surgery in January 2012 which was unsuccessful and as a result had become more disabled and barely able to walk. The house sadly was entrusted to a couple who seriously let me down. I took over the running and serious cleaning of the place in Sept 2013,...
