I struggle to see how this place can have so many good reviews and put it down to the time you arrive as I have stayed here many times (booked in by work) and found the checking in process very painful. Once through this hurdle the tired rooms await although I believe from my visit last week upgrading is imminent.... More

Couldn't complain. Great food, comfy beds and a choice of pillows ranging from firm to soft depending on your preference - lovely. Little touches like bottle of water in the room and room service are there if you need them. Lovely toiletries too.

I stayed here for a night whilst away and found the hotel to be great. The location of the hotel is easy enough to find just a mile or so from Junction 23 on the M1 and following the road signs into the University (Yes the hotel is on campus). The hotel itself is quite large with plenty of rooms... More

Ideal situation for large conference. State of the art conference rooms, break out rooms, coffee bars, restaurants and fitness facilities. Bedrooms are very modern and endowed with all facilities. Free wifi and refreshments.

You can't beat the convenience of being on campus for work and stay. The place is huge though, so rooms can we quite the maze to find. But that get's made up with a good bar and food in the lounge. Breakfast bar is extensive and well serviced. Rooms are just now starting to feel their use, and are on... More

This is an odd place on the university campus. A bit like a hall of residence but that may be the context. It is very linear and spread out. Facilities are adequate but that's all. you need to walk a long way for breakfast. i think there is a lift but i couldn't find it.

It was for a business event, but I used the pool which was fine, and the breakfast was excellent though relatively expensive. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The reception staff were friendly. The site itself is part of the university and the architecture and layout reflect this. Parking can be difficult at busy times, and there is nowhere... More

I stayed here at the weekend, and after seeing the hotel online I was looking forward to making use of the pool, gym and also the restaurant. The pool and gym were okay, however the hotel and restaurant were very poor. It was cold, and the room was not clean. Then to top it off, we went for a meal... More

Located on a large university campus the hotel is perfectly adequate for an overnight conference visit - I guess the main reason people stay. It is large, clean reasonably comfortable but in many respects fairly basic. The food in the restaurant is at best forgettable. However, the clue is in the price not in the stars. Rates are reasonable, I... More

We stayed here to visit family locally in Loughborough and booked at the last minute. Hotel is clean and staff were all helpful and pleasant in the bar reception and fitness area. Enjoyed our brief stay. The room was an executive double. Relatively small but had everything we needed. Feels more 3 star than 4 but served our purpose well... More
