Stayed here recently and couldn't fault the staff or food. Room was large and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is in urgent need of modernisation as the decor looks shabby, carpets are thread bear in places and everything looks " tired". The bedroom furniture is old fashioned and we were unable to use the bath as the water... More

Thank you for your review. We have gone through all twelve of our rooms as well as both landings and cannot find any threadbare carpet - please let us know where you saw thread bare patches. As for the furniture- Room 2 (only room with a bath) was replaced 18 months ago from a large, well known modern store. We... More

Stayed here for one night so we could see the illuminations in Blackpool without the traffic jams as it's only a short bus ride. The lady on reception as we arrived was very friendly and we were very happy with the room , the views from our room (7) were beautiful just a shame there was no sun but it... More

My family and I stayed one night at this hotel and there was really nothing to complain about. The beds were comfortable and clean, the room was clean, and although seemed quite sparse, there was everything you could need for a short stay. We stayed in room one which is the only room available on the ground floor, I believe?... More

We stayed for 2 night end of October, staff were welcoming and we had put Vegan on the request when booking. We were very pleasantly surprised when at breakfast they had taken this into account and provided an excellent vegan options. The hotel is clean and tidy and close to the amenities and town centre. A great place to stay... More

One night stay as a break in a journey. Rooms were very comfortable, 1 double overlooking the promenade and 1 single. Room facilities were excellent and clean. Staff were very friendly and most helpful, responding promptly to special requests especially for the elder member of the group. Breakfast was good and the bar well stocked. We would stay there again.

We often stop by for lunch, the menu is simple but all tasty and in the sun you can't beat the terrace! We haven't stayed over but have chatted to other guests who had great things to say. The owners are really nice and staff efficient.

There is little to compliment or complain about at this hotel. On a recent family overnight we had a comfortable stay, and an adequete breakfast in the morning. There seems to be an effort to upgrade the hotel from the bottom up, which is commendable. The hotel & accommodation is comfortable & clean, without being memorable. Overall if you are... More

The people who own the hotel are charming and try very hard. They are also spending time and money upgrading the hotel but I am sorry to say they have some distance to travel. There are a number of issues. The WiFi is great but try as I might I could not get hot water from the hot water tap... More

We had a triple room on the front with an excellent view. Furniture a bit worn, but it didn't stop us sleeping. Very comfy, clean beds, which did help us sleep. Banksy Coffee bar very modern and well presented, nice staff. Breakfast room very basic and a table hadn't been set for. This was soon rectified, and we had a... More
