My wife and myself have just had wonderful new year celebration at this hotel. The meal Jono and the rest of the chef's put on was fantastic . Tory and the rest of the front of house team made sure the evening ran smoothly with a smile and nothing to much trouble a chat and serving the wonderful food. We...

We hire the converted barn in the grounds called the Cottage two doubles and and a twin bunk. This New Year break seven dogs and four adults cottage clean and plenty of room. We take all our meals in the hotel which has an excellent reputation and good variety, but if you wanted to do self catering not a problem...

We always try to take a relaxed pre-Christmas lunch and called in a few days before Christmas , the location is lovely and reception staff are friendly.Unfortunately the food wasn't at the same standard, main courses are relatively expensive and there was nothing remotely "christmassy" We ate in the conservatory and then had to order at bar and collect cutlery...

Thank you for your review and I am really sorry you were disappointed. Whilst we try really hard to ensure that our guests expectations are met, we obviously did not meet yours. I recommend that if you are looking for a Christmas Lunch, pre-christmas, that you fact find prior to arriving. We served a varied and excellent value 4 course...

When it's cold outside nothing like a roaring fire and great British home cooked food to make you feel good inside. Had a great late lunch early tea today, winter menu is so tasty. The boys loved their liver and bacon and faggots. Perfect Saturday afternoon.

Thank you for your feedback. It is interesting you enjoyed your very traditional home cooked food. It certainly is warming and wholesome at this time of year. We do hope to see you again in the future.

Really nice feel to this place. It's got character and is in a really good spot. Rooms vary in size. The bar is homely food is nice but quite pricey. I paid £10 for a coffee and a sausage bap! I would go again if staying in the area, but not if I pull over in between my journey for...

Went to The Old Court as part of a wedding reception and couldn't fault the place. The food was divine - not sure if we had a special menu but the red mullet starter was gorgeous and the lamb as a main, apparently a house special, was out of this world - slow cooked, tasty, huge and mouth watering -...

We stayed for the weekend and cannot say thank you enough to the lovely staff of The Old Court Hotel. Firstly on arrival they had upgraded us as our dog is huge and they thought we would be more comfortable in a suite - which was a lovely surprise and very welcome. The hotel is very geared toward dog owners,...

We stayed here for three nights and chose the hotel for its convenient location close to the Wye valley. We had a warm welcome and our room was charming - four poster bed, old stone fireplace and beams. Our only grumble about the room was the lighting which even with the ceiling light and bedside lamps on was quite tricky...
