We stayed for three nights from 18th April in room 23.......A really lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. On arrival we were very warmly welcomed at reception by Emily, who was really lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Also another member of staff, Shane, what a nice guy, also very helpful. We saw him at reception and covering the restaurant...

Great value, food and service very good. Room small and the shower a bit tempramental and wifi only accessible in rooms near reception. However, the reason you should choose this hotel is the beautiful Wye river and the walks from the hotel are wonderful.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a deal. We were in a standard room with Bed, breakfast and one three course dinner. The hotel is in a ideal setting for exploring Hertfordshire and the surrounding Wye Valley, Breacon Beacons, Black Mountains and Forest of Bowland. Clearly the rooms are compact and a bit tired but this is...

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay at the Paddocks. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and we thoroughly enjoyed walking along the course of the nearby River Wye and picnicking on the banks where we could watch the wildlife. Stayed here overnight with a Groupon and could not believe the value, £ 49 for a glass of wine, three course dinner, overnight stay and breakfast. We had everything we needed in our room, plenty of very hot water extra bedding and heating. Reasonable selection of drinks, decent menu but not really enough staff although a very pleasant stay. Only...

We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The food was lovely. Breakfast was Self-Service with plenty of choice with the cooked items and yoghurt, fruit, cereals, juices and tea and coffee. It is very close by to several pubs which serve food also. The pub up the road has a hand ferry which crosses...

We were driving slowly along road as hotel signs were small but you won't miss the Paddocks sign! Grounds were pretty and building looks a little dated but you can see efforts have been made to smarten it up with fresh curtains in the room and fluffy fresh towels etc. The bed on room 2 was noisy and you had...
