From initial booking right through to the dinner, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and very good value for money. Service was very good. Our group will definitely use The Chase again.

Nice Hotel, Good Location - VERY POOR Customer Service I booked an overnight stay in The Chase with my 9 year old daughter. We are frequent visitors to Ross-on-Wye, my daughter asked to stay in The Chase as it is close to a friends business and we have walked past numerous times. After booking the room I received an email...

My friend and I enjoyed a ldelicious afternoon tea at The Chase last week. The staff were friendly and courteous and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. Tea and coffee were freely replenished and the surroundings were elegant, but comfortable.

The welcome was OK but impersonal. The room was very small but clean (as was the bathroom) with a small TV plus tea making equipment. The restaurant (Harry's Place) was surprisingly good with lovely food and delightful staff. There were some glitches but then again most places have them (see separate review). The bar is pleasant and if it wasn't...

Lovely traditional venue. Warm and cosy surroundings beautifully decorated for Christmas. Welcoming professional staff with excellent customer service noting was too much trouble. They swooped our tea for green tea. Afternoon tea was delicious, finger sandwiches, trifle, fruit tart, chocolate cake and of course the traditional scone with cream and jam. We definitely will be returning.

I'll give these guys full marks. It's a gorgeous Georgian house set in several manicured acres with generous parking and within easy walking distance of the town centre. On what was a horrible occasion personally the staff I encountered were without exception charming and friendly. I had lunch there with a couple of others and they were happy to let...

We decided to make a return visit to the Chase Hotel for Sunday lunch after previously having had a poor afternoon tea experience at the beginning of the year. What a big mistake this proved to be. We ordered a drink at the bar and simultaneously were asked to order our lunch and very shortly after we were ushered into...
