The place has the novelty of staying in a historic 14th century building. It has exposed stone walls, fireplaces, stone steps and rambling passages. Yes the beams can be low, but I am 6’4” and I sustained no head injury in my weeks stay! Much of the furniture in the Talbot and Walford apartments we rented was hand-made pine with...

Flanesford Priory apartments are fine, the problem is with the fishing. There is an arrangement between the Priory and a third party who own the fishing rights to the streches of river advertised for fishing. The vast majority of the riverside is not maintained and as a result there is very limited safe access to the river and swims are...

The most fantastic wedding venue. I was a guest and it was just perfect. Many of us stayed at the priory. The cider mill is perfect for the bride and groom. Catering from Izzy was superb - everything just perfect - thank you to all the staff.

A large group of us arrived at Flansford Priory to the wonderful smell of wood burning in the gorgeous log burner. I stayed in the Cider Mill which was even better than I was expecting. The views were incredible & the place was just stunning especially the master bedroom. Other friends stayed in the Wye & the Talbot which were...

My hubby and I stayed in the Walford Apartment. It was clean, cosy and welcoming. We can't fault the Priory. It was a pleasure meeting Kath. We will definitely be back. My husband enjoyed the fishing and was very successful catching a number of barbel, chub and eel.

Everyone was so relaxed and commented on the beautiful apartments and the amazing views! All the apartments have everything you need, the Cider Mill has a large patio area and...

We have just come back from 3 nights here staying in The Castle apartment. The apartment was well kitted out for self catering. We took our dog so we had a dog friendly apartment which isn't plush but very comfortable. The views around are beautiful, it is very peaceful and the pub opposite - The Inn on the Wye is...

My son and I required a location central for a fishing trip on the Wye. Flanesford Priory offered good quality comfort. It is so easy for self catering to be tacky but this location is anything but!! The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, good bedding and towels, plenty of hot water and soft sofas to watch the TV...

Booked a short break in Charlton Apartment between Christmas and new year. Unfortunately we found ourselves sandwiched between two very noisy branches of the same family, and the soundproofing in this building is non-existent. Luckily, the owners were able to move us, completely without fuss for which thanks, to Walford. This was cosy, comfortable, warm and quiet; slight issue with...
