Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room temperature was too hot (23) for me and apparently couldn't be altered. I had the window open for several hours but the traffic disturbed my sleep. Also woke up very sweaty under the heavy duvet. The ceiling was extremely noisy (I had room 102) whenever the guest above walked around. I've never come across noise to such an extent in a hotel, the floor needs to be repaired somehow. So I had a terrible night's sleep in a hotel which I'd chosen in order to rest and break my journey from Stirling to Bath. Also, at night, the entrance to the hotel is not clearly visible from the roundabout of the motorway junction, I ended up asking for directions at the Holiday Inn reception.

Stayed 2 nights for a business trip. Everything was as i hoped - room was clean, bed was very comfortable and a fantastic breakfast. Attentive and very friendly staff, especially the Manager Jay Cotton who was able to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Wouldn't refund a trip that was due to take place over queen's funeral. Tried to raise the issue before trip was due to take place, was told couldn't cancel it as complaint had been raised. Turns out complaint hadn't been raised, admitted wrong on their fault and still wouldn't refund even though they listened back to call. Anything to protect bottom line. Even over queens funeral no cares given by them in this exceptional circumstances.

Very good stay; lovely friendly man on reception who was very welcoming. Room was clean and tidy; bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and tidy. Quiet location despite being near a main road. No complaints!

We stayed for 2 nights last week and every single member of staff we came across was friendly, helpful and interacted with our 2 year old and she absolutely loved it. The ladies made a big effort to get her some pictures to colour in and to speak with her and respected her input when she tried to ask for something or to speak with them. We ate in the restaurant both mornings and evenings with the meal deal which was great value and all of the food we had was lovely, tasty and fresh. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of breakfast and good quality. Bed very comfortable. Very close to the M5 and therefore noisy. Warm night so had the window open, which meant our sleep was disturbed.

Bedroom far too hot. Thermostat showed 27oC even with window open, as far as security opening would allow and desk fan running all night. Difficult to get a good nights sleep due to unavoidable traffic noise and unbearable heat. Toilet continuously running which appeared to be the overflow.

I was looking for hotel with car charge points, but these are rare. It's about time hotels were forced to have EV points =20% ,of their rooms number. I had to go to a local shopping centre for a recharge and wait in the car as shops were closed. Wake up Premier.
