For the price you pay its fairly decent value. Still lots of reminders of the old premier inn but hey nothing to majorly complain about. Comfy bed. Decent room. Friendly staff. Bit awkward to find from bank quay Station but hey nothing to really complain about

Hotel's Favourite
I think this used to be a Premier Inn but wasnt upgraded with the rest of them, even so it was perfectly comfortable for a stopover watching a gig in Warrington. Excellent price, pub next door, free parking, a short walk into town. Bath,. shower, loads of pillows, 24 hour reception, tea and coffee, almost exactly like a Premier Inn with just a few rough edges.

Average at best, Service was very slow and actually quite poor. Young women who clearly were not competent enough to fulfil daily duties. Sunday dinner was average, the beef was served pink which put me off so I ordered chicken. I wrongly assumed I would get an actual breast of a fresh chicken, I actually received a bang in the oven box pre cut. The outdoor visuals are excellent, the interior was OK

Just back from a two night stay at The Waterside Hotel and we would definitely return. Rooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable bed, the shower was also very good. Staff were very helpful and a big thanks to Maria on reception as she helped with finding out train details and also left a note under our door to let us know that our car had a flat tyre. Breakfast in the pub opposite was also very good with plenty of choice of continental and freshly cooked options. If we were looking at accommodation when visiting events in Manchester we would book this hotel without a doubt.

Terrible damp smell in the hotel bed and towels were clean, room 10 was in need of attention and wouldn't cost much to fix, stains on the wall and full room in need of a paint job, bathroom was in a poor state tiles badly needing replaced or re grouting, would never stay again!!! Food in the pub next door was OK and the staff were lovely Reception staff are fantastic it's just a shame the management ignore all the Terrible reviews on here

Hotel basic but clean, comfy, quiet location with plenty of parking and very well priced. All you need for a weekend stay. Better than I expected I must say. Ate in the pub next door which was standard pub grub but nicely prepared and presented. Special mention to George who was our server on Saturday night. Pleasant and welcoming. Good service and while these type of restaurants are 2 a penny once again I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and good service. Will stay in the hotel and eat in the pub again gladly.

Stayed here when it was the premier inn. And was disappointed. I thought that now it had changed over owners it would of been better. It looked better from the outside, but the rooms still need updating. It was clean, but needs a make over. Especially the bathroom. Tap needs repairing, screws hanging out. Bath chipped.

A bit rough around the edges, bathroom was definitely in need of a refurb (screw holes everywhere, bits hanging off, mouldy grout in shower/bath) as could the room. Towels were rock hard and didn’t absorb much, was more like scraping the water off after a shower. Bed and pillows were really comfy and the staff were all great, also a great location as a short walk from town centre. Has great potential but definitely needs a refurbishment inside the rooms! Breakfast was pretty good with lots of selection. Would have given 3/5 but gets a 4/5 for location and price.

Stayed here for a couple of nights to attend brothers funeral, the room was clean and a nice size and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable got a good night's sleep , the bathroom was the usual basic bathroom, but it was very clean with extra toilet rolls. The reception was clean and pleasant, have to commend Vicki for her friendly and courteous behaviour, always had a smile and a chat. Definitely stay here again when I am in the area.
