The room has an initial wow factor but then is let down in other areas such as the TV's in the children's beds not working. The biggest disappointment was having to check out at 10am when the theme park itself did not open until 11:30am for the Halloween event - what are you actually supposed to do???? Breakfast is either a breakfast bag or a bacon roll. Not really enough to fill you up before a day at the theme park.

2 adults and 2 children stayed in the pirate themed room. It's on the ground floor. Adults stayed in a double bed. Kids were in bunk beds. All beds were comfy. The hotel is behind the bushes directly facing the entrance to the theme park. There is a port hole into the kids’ room and its fully open. We couldn’t watch tv as the kids kept popping their heads out to see what was on tv. A flap to keep the light out of their room would be beneficial. There is no door into the kids’ room just a curtain but it was fine. Quality carpet and other furnishings. No wardrobe but plenty of shelf space. The staff were friendly. The hotel was nice, and it was clean. bathroom was modern. Lots of chairs in the room. Tea and coffee making facilities though we didn’t use them. They had their mascot the lion walking around the reception area meeting children. I was told that they have arts and crafts tables out for evening entertainment, and they put a film on for the children. We didn’t attend this. There is a separate bit of entertainment back in Gulliver’s world theme park in the starlight theatre. The park is boxed off so no chance of the children running off in a closed theme park. This was great. Big room, stage, full of family friendly entertainment. There is a bar, and you can order drinks from there. Everything you would expect from a British family entertainment holiday. We got this on a heavily discounted deal as part of their disability day. We loved our stay! It was brilliant. However, if we were to pay the £400 full price I would not be happy. Excellent for what we paid 5/5. We would never pay the full price as the standard didn’t reflect the price tag 3/5. The minor downsides were. -There was a sewage smell outside and some mosquitoes in the room when the window was open. Breakfast was already in a paper bag when we arrived. A pan au chocolat but we didn’t eat this because it said eat on day of purchase and there was no date on it. The earliest it would have been bought was the day before. 2 rice crispy bars and 2 coco pops breakfast bars. An apple each and an individual size orange juice each. The toilet leaked and this was reported the next day. The drainage in the bath from the shower was poor but I have read there’s an issue with the plugs (cannot get them made anymore) in the whole hotel. One remote didn’t work but you could use one of the other remotes to work the tv. All the backs on the remotes were missing and the batteries were just duct taped over. The car park is small for the size of the hotel. There’s a gift shop inside the hotel. The starlight theatre entertainment the staff were brilliant and worked so hard. The food was over priced (£11) for what looked like a Smartprice frozen pizza (66p) the bar doesn’t sell Coca cola nor any drinks on tap with sugar in them. I tried the sugar free Tango and it was inedible (usually I can’t tell the difference with Tango). Tasted like dishwater. Husband had a San Miguel and this was heavily watered down. 1 pizza, cheesy garlic bread, 2 San miguels, 1 Pepsi max, 1 Tango, 1 j20, and one Fruit shoot was roughly £50. 2 Toilets. In the room there are a few tables at the back but to access the bar, stage, rest of the room and toilets you must go down a few steps so not accessible for wheelchair users and people with prams. In the evening the only way to get into the theme park to get to the starlight theatre is through the gift shop. There’s a sign that states no pushchairs, but I think that applies to daytime since no other doors are accessible. We struggled to get through the narrow heavy door (staff didn’t help) and there’s a small block of wood under each door frame that a wheelchair can’t roll over needs to be tipped up. Hated this bit it was such an unnecessary faff about.

With the package you do not have a choice of food at tea or breakfast. You must pay for alternative choices. We ended up having the same lunch and tea! Breakfast was a dry bread roll and over cooked bacon. The milk was UHT! Gully is certainly feeling the recession. The shower did not get hot in the room (sink wash) and there was nowhere at all to hang clothes in our outdoor hut. It’s just very bog standard and dated. Needs a good refurb. Staff were really lovely and helpful everywhere in the park and hotel. Stop being such minge bags and give us hot water and real milk please Mr Gulliver’s World.

We booked a play and stay trip, staying at a western lodge. On arrival we met Nicola and enquired about an upgrade. She kindly took us to one of the themed rooms (western suite) which we decided to upgrade to to have the full experience. We had arrival drinks (free of charge) and the upgrade included tickets for the Dino Trail. Which was amazing!! The children had a train trip to the lost world, dressed up as explorers and we searched to find dinosaurs. This included some rides too!! We then had a train trip back. At the hotel the staff were super attentive and friendly nothing was an issue. They wanted us to have an amazing experience. The children then participated in hotel games, a visit from the Cookie Monster and a movie. It was amazing for children!! The next day we received the same great customer service during breakfast from the reception and waiting staff. Plus the room was literally spotless. The bathroom gleamed. We then ventured into the park which was just as fantastic, staff were friendly, the rides were perfect for our children 4,7 and 11. We hardly queued and managed to go round the park getting on rides more than once. The whole weekend exceeded our expectations. Gullivers Warrington is an amazing place for kids under 13. We loved it and will definitely return. Nicola and the hotel team were a credit to the company. We recommend this place and cannot wait to book our next trip!!

We (family of 4) stayed on Sunday 18th n checked out Monday 19th, we have had an amazing stay. From the 2 ladies checking us in (1 was called Helen, didn't catch the other ladies name) they were so welcoming and friendly and explained everything to us, one of the ladies was still there Monday morning at breakfast and check out and again really lovely and helpful. The room, we were so happy with it! It beat our expectations completely and it was absolutely spotlessly clean! It had everything in there that we needed and it was wonderfully comfortable and warm. The children were more than happy with the stay as were we. Once we were in our room we couldn't hear a thing so it was a lovely peaceful night, which after a long day in the theme park we were glad of. We've recommended it to everyone who has asked about our stay there. We didn't stay for the evening meal as we'd already eaten at the park and fancied something different we found a local harvester which was were good. Breakfast was good we were able to swap the continental stuff for a bacon/sausage muffin which was much preferred. Really enjoyed our stay would happily return

Stayed overnight recently, hotel was clean and staff were friendly. There is a park and cinema room where children's films are played in the evening. Milk and cookies are free if you wish to indulge whilst watching the family film. Overall we enjoyed our stay however, beware there is a gift shop within the hotel!

Me my 2 boys and partner did the stay and play. 3rd September till 4th September 2022 We stayed in a dino den it was clean and well looked after. Very comfortable there was a TV , hairdryer, clean towels, shower, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, free wifi and complimentary milk, tea, coffee, suger and hair and body wash. In the evening we had a dinner which we all enjoyed, there was evening entertainment, dancing, magic, games and the cookie monster gave them cookies and milk. In the park the toilets were clean, queues where short for rides, only had a 30 minute queue at the antelope. Everything else was less then 15. Over all amazing for kids

We stayed here last night in a tipi and were already less than impressed whilst sat outside having a nightcap when two huge rats came out from under the deck of a cabin opposite and proceeded to run around the grass. (Literally feet away from were other families were sleeping in tents and some kids were still playing near the mini golf) Needless to say I screamed the camp down and went inside for the remainder of the night. I also overheard a huge commotion at the reception were the staff had failed to provide a baby cot (which had been pre-booked) and didn’t have one, meaning the poor family had to just go home at 10pm with their small children. Menu is poor and childrens menu is horrific, nothing to offer which encourages or supports a healthy/balanced diet. Just chips, nuggets etc no options for sides of veg. Other than that the hotel is ok. Theme park is atrocious, beyond filthy and run down. Wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed in a teepee within the resort and booked the super stay and play package. We arrived in the morning and had a great day in the theme park. Yes, it does need a little update but it’s perfect for children and there is lots to do inside and out. We checked in at 4pm and found our teepee literally covered in flies. We camp in a tent a lot but have never seen so many flies, the roof was covered in them and old cobwebs too. Another family went to buy fly spray and one family asked to be upgraded to a lodge. My partner used wipes to clean the dead flies and cobwebs away. From that point everything was perfect and ran so smoothly. They had thought of everything for the children and there wasn’t a point in which they were bored. After the evening entertainment and meal, they put a film on for the kids. We didn’t sleep very well because of the noise but that isn’t a fault of the hotel. Although, we have stayed on some sites where they have signs asking guest to be a little quieter at night. The noise didn’t die down until around 11.30pm but I suppose people were just having fun on their holidays. In the morning, everything was just as well organised and yet again, the kids were entertained instantly. The staff and entertainment team where just fantastic. They even catered for me with a vegan option for my evening meal and breakfast. We had another fun day in the park. This package is amazing value for money and brilliant for the kids! We would do it again but stay in the hotel or a lodge next time.
