We stayed here for one night for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it, room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, the hotel booked us in to the restaurant on site which again was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was great, cannot fault this pleasant little hotel, we will book again

We stayed here on 9th Jan 16 and what a lovely place. The welcome by the owners was very friendly. We were immediately given a menu for breakfast so we could tick what we wanted. The room was great, we were in room 1, lovely comfortable bed, and a fabulous fireplace in the room with alcoves either side. There was...

Having given advance notice of my late arrival, the owners were both very kind to wait up for me and welcomed me in to a warm and cosy living area and immediately offered me a beverage and any thing I may require. I was given a comfortable room with bathroom. With an early start the next day I was still...

Works Xmas party. Booked locally so the drink and Xmas spirit could commence. Throughly enjoyed my stay. Very homely and cosy. Just off j11 M6. Or. A449. A460. Would totally recommend a weekend stay as a base camp for visiting the local history. Business. Or just an escape into a quiet life. Ron n Blaithin (owners) Thankyou

I have stayed in this hotel on regular basis for the past 6 months. You'll fin Ron and Bloheim very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is very clean, warm and comfortable. They have recently started offering food for supper upon request, it is a very good standard and plenty of it. If you like to end the day with some...

We stayed in this property for one night only, traveling throughout UK to reach Dublin via ferry. Lovely location, classic Victorian brick building. The owner and his wife welcomed us and they made us feeling at home form the first moment. Clean nice room, comfortable bed and good wifi. We were traveling with our pet and we didn't have any...

They were very understanding with a mistake with the booking due to hotels.com and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a twin room with en en-suite, which could easily sleep up to family of four, for only £70 a night including free breakfast and wi-fi that worked in the whole building including in rooms. Only negative is the...

Manager had just come to work there from France. He was extremely nice and helpful. Room was only fair, was relatively clean. Bathroom was in a garret, have to bend to take a shower and as we were on the top floor minimal water pressure---akin to taking a shower with spit. The common room was nice, the breakfast fair. Barely...

Booked this on-line, I wanted a four poster & we both liked the sound of the restaurant. Booking said 'Luxury on-suite', erm debatable! I will describe the room and let you make up your own mind. This was September, believe it has since change hands. Room 4, huge comfy 4 poster, clean crisp sheets. Carpet stained through age & not...
