Myself, my partner and our family members stayed here over the weekend and our experience from start to finish was awful. When we first entered the room there were stains all over the wall, dust and hairs everywhere. The floorboards and the bed were really creaky you could hear the people in the room above us walking around. When we...

Do not book here!! The room stank of stale cigarette smoke, we found hair balls on the floor of our room and used plastic cups underneath the beds. There was some form of sauce on the telephone in the room, the showers had mould, dirt, and hair in them, and the bathroom floor was filthy!! I did not expect much...

Rooms were disgusting, you'll have to flush the toilet from a previous guest yourself you can't guarantee your bedsheets will be clean nor will they change them windows are so dirty you can hardly see out of them bathtub not cleaned properly from previous guests, avoid at all costs management refuse refund if you don't "leave straight away" for £10...

We were first given room 136 on the first floor. The carpet was dirty, wallpaper peeling off wall, paper screen on bathroom window peeling off, filthy blind and mouldy windows, bath dirty with rust mark.On complaining we were given another room 310. This was better but the carpet was threadbare, hot tap on bath was broken so had to use...

Firstly, absolutely shocking customer service from the guy behind the reception. He was just plain rude. That alone makes me not want to stay there ever again We were thinking about booking the travel lodge but due to the closeness of this place to the train station we chose this one. The room was...not great. The bathroom wasn't very clean,...

My partner booked for a one night stay, as we were going to a play at the grand. All l can say is l was shocked at the standards, our room/bathroom was shabby and dirty, the only good thing was the clean towels and sheets, we had a non smoking room but the smell of cigarette smoke stale and fresh...

I arrived at the hotel with my partner..The lady on reception was very welcoming.?The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and warm.the only noise was the traffic but you can expect that in the central location.my partner had to go out so i went to eat in the restaurant..It was empty..I asked for a table,i was told ,with a haughty look,it's £12.50..I ordered...

I really see no point wasting much time in this review, so here's a quick list of what you get with Britannia. - Cold, dark rooms - no working wifi - world's slowest lifts, which half of the time don't work at all - dodgy staff On a positive note, the bed linen were clean and the showers hot. Still,...
