We stayed for 1 night. Having asked for quiet room was disappointed to be put in a bedroom facing main road. We assumed all quiet rooms had gone, and as we only wanted 1 night and knew we would be late back didn't ask to be moved. What we hadn't thought about was the town clock opposite striking on the...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay here with us. I am very sorry that on this occasion we were unable to accommodate your request for a room at the rear of the building. Beautiful character hotel. Stayed just 1 Saturday night on room only. Had 2 rooms but the second couple had not arrived and we were still able to check in. Receptionist was fantastic - even arranging ice for our room. Room was great, freshly painted and bed comfy. Location perfect. Right on Banbury Cross, numerous bars and restaurants near by. Lovely...

Very enjoyable stay at hotel, had a room overlooking garden which was recommended. Rooms kept very clean, only real criticism was the shower pressure not great. Price for breakfast very high, but like a previous reviewer, wetherspoons down the road offer a £2.99 hearty breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Well it's very old! The stairs moan and groan, the windows seem to be original & it's oldie worldly. Very clean and in a great location. A couple of areas could do with tidying up, old carpets, the entrance from the rear carpet looks a bit unloved. That said, I would stay again.
