This must be the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed at,it’s kept immaculate by the owners and the welcoming pack has everything you need to start your stay, there is nothing you need here as it’s all supplied. This is our second visit and will certainly look at staying there again. Thank you Lorraine and I hope your shoulder problem gets better soon.
A wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautiful bungalow. Lorraine was a super host and provided a lovely "welcome pack" with plenty of little treats. Audrey's is a great location for days out in Buxton. It offers a perfect "home from home"break and a chance to really relax and unwind. Five stars all round! Hope to visit again.
I could not fault this bungalow, so clean , and everything to hand , was made to feel so welcome. Its a little bit out of Buxton but taxis are cheap . The views were outstanding Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back for another visit. Local restaurants catering for all needs and tastes.
On 2 previous occasions, long before I was a contributor to TripAdvisor, Philip and I stayed overnight at the Bed and Breakfast, wonderfully hosted by Lorraine (and ably assisted by John). For that alone, Barms Farm would deserve 5 stars for the quality of the bedroom and its facilities, including the pristine Egyptian cotton bed linen. For our trip at the beginning of May this year, however, we chose to avail ourselves of the self-catering bungalow adjacent to the farmhouse. Normally able to accommodate 2 couples (2 large bedrooms, each with luxury en-suite facilities), Philip and I had the run of the place to ourselves, so it was a home from home. Yes, there are some house rules, like no shoes inside the house, but Lorraine provides everything she possibly could to make the stay in the property enjoyable. The kitchen is incredibly well-appointed and there was nothing that we needed to get to supplement the inventory. We were, I hasten to add, blessed by good weather for most of the time we spent at Audrey's, so our experience was the best it could be. I would recommend the place to anyone who wanted a central location to 'see' and 'do' the Peak District!…
It's understandable why this b&b has such a good rating. It is lovely, a mile or so from the town centre it is lovely and quiet. The owner Lorraine is so nice and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing (especially the black pudding!!!!). Couldn't of asked for a more perfect place to stay for our anniversary.
