Found the town of Buxton in Derbyshire's Peak District due to wanting to visit Chatsworth Hall and Haddon Hall, and found the Roseleigh house through Tripadvisor. My daughter and I had a lovely three night stay there- it is located on a beautriful walk overlooking a small lake, very picturesque. The room was charming, everything looks just like the online... Room 10 on the second floor with a delightful view over the park lake and the trees beyond . Bathroom a short walk along the landing ,for my personal use. The breakfasts were all freshly cooked and ever so tasty, and the table service was flawless . All eight of us enjoyed our short time at Buxton, but essentially having had... More

We stayed two nights in Buxton at Roseleigh. It is a perfect location, on the Board Walk, just a few minutes away from the Opera House and all the other attractions of the spa area. Roseleigh is very nicely furnished; we loved our bedroom looking over the little lake, with two very comfortable armchairs and a really quirky gent's wardrobe.... More

We had not expected to be in Buxton but the M6 was closed on our route home from Northumberland to Somerset. So with nothing booked we went to the Tourist info. and they found a double room for us at the Roseleigh. It was perfectly situated in the centre of town opposite the beautiful town gardens. We were shown into... More

I stayed in this highly recommended B&B for 4 nights. The rooms are elegantly decorated and very clean and the house was really quiet. The train station is within easy walking distance, breakfast was delicious and the hosts, Maggi and Gerard, were very friendly and helpful. Buxton is a good base to explore the Peak District by bus. I enjoyed... More

Very clean and well kept. The owners are lovely and very knowledgeable about Buxton and it surrounds. Breakfast was plentiful and prompt. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful view of the lake. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.

The owners of this hotel have put a huge amount of thought into every room of this hotel and it shows; in the furniture , the curtains, the attention to detail. It is very tasteful. Breakfast was delicious, the young girls were helpful, polite and efficient. Gerard obviously takes a lot of pride in his B & B - and... More

Roseleigh benefits from a fine location, with beautiful view over the Pavilion Gardens, and within a very pleasant short stroll from the centre of Buxton. The Guest House is beautifully decorated, clean, with a comfortable shared lounge overlooking the park with its calm lake. Our bed room shared the same view from the second floor and was spacious and comfortable,... More
