Unrivalled selection of beer in the town. Great music, friendly staff and a proper pub environment. Best place for sports as well. Modern hotel rooms recently built with great breakfast. No cheap mass produced ingredients. Would 100% come back.

we stayed her for one night whilst visiting relatives and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub and comfort of the room. Don't let the bouncers on the door of the pub, or the bands that play on a Friday night put you off. The room we had was located in a courtyard behind the pub and we hardly... More

We stayed here on Saturday night to visit family. It is very central on the market place. These are rooms at the back of a pub. We checked in around 3 pm, parking is at the back of the pub which opens in to a courtyard. We were told where to park and were a little concerned about the parking.... More

We booked on line and on arrival were offered an alternative room in the newly built annex. The facilities were first rate, large beds, good ensuite and plenty of tea and coffee. Full English breakfast set you up for the day served by friendly staff who remembered you particular requirements for tea! Overall great value for money.

Don't be put off by the exterior of the Hotel. The rooms are in an annex at the rear of the building . We were greeted promptly and shown to our room. Ours was equipped to an extremely high standard with an enormous comfortable bed and superb shower room. It was also very clean and quiet.

Booked this b & b last minute as we were visiting the theatre and decided to make a real night of it, meal and stay over. We arrived at about 4pm and were the first to get there. A young guy came out to tell us we needed to park in a certain spot in order to get all the... More

Visited Buxton and decided to take a chance with this hotel. Read some reviews and they said it was noisy, the only noise I heard was someone snoring very loudly in another room. Checked on my earthquake app and it didn't register on the Richter scale, quite surprised!!! Super king size bed, sky tv, large bathroom, plenty of coffee/tea. 2... More

Stayed here for one night and upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. We were taken up to our room which was tastefully decorated (obviously a lot of thought put into it), spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the room quite and the en suite was very nice. Full English breakfast completed our lovely stay... More
