We stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend in the Peveril room. The room was immaculate, with a beautiful bathroom, soft white towels and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The owners-Barbara and Alan were lovely hosts, and we couldn't fault Alan's award winning breakfast-the perfect start to the day. We really appreciated the...

The B&B couldn't be better located to enjoy Buxton. The room was full of character and very comfortable - I had a wonderful night's sleep. The shower was great. The breakfast was delicious - just the right size and perfect eggs. And such welcoming hosts.

Some time after we booked the owners asked us if we were willing to change rooms because of another guest's requirements. We agreed with some slight reluctance - but in fact the room which we were allocated (Peveril) was excellent - lots of really good attention to detail - and with a particularly marvellous bathroom. Breakfast was also excellent -...

We stayed at the Victoria guest house for one night. The room was lovely with lots of little homely touches and very comfortable. Barbara was very friendly and very helpful as was Alan. The cooked breakfast the next day was very nice and just what we needed before the drive back. I would reconmend a stay at this guesthouse as...

Meandering through the Peak District, we chanced on this delightful town and a truly superlative B&B! From the moment we entered the Victorian, we were treated to the best. Our room - albeit at a quiet time - was the wonderful 1st floor large room with bay window, lovely views across the footpath to the Pavilion Gardens. The room is...

A group of us stayed at Buxton Victorian for a number of days, and the proprietors have made a very lovely place to stay and relax. The rooms were sweet, breakfast was great and the owners were so helpful in terms of walks and attractions near Buxton. We'd all go again!

I stayed at the Buxton Victorian with a female friend. We asked for a twin room but as we booked fairly late only the West Wing family suite was available. This consisted of 1 bedroom with a double and a single bed in and a bathroom with a shower as well as a 2nd bedroom with twin beds. The room...

My husband and I are Americans but frequently visit our daughter and her husband who live in London. They like to get out of London for long weekends so I did all the research form the states, using The Michelin Guide and Trip Advisor as my guides and chose Buxton's Victorian B and B so we could take advantage of...

We had booked the Victorian Guest House because it was the only on that could offer us a family room for one night. We were passing throught the area and needed a convenient stop over. The welcome was warm. The family room (which was in fact two rooms with shared bathroom) was ideal. The decor and view were very pleasing....
