Stayed for 3 nights in a campervan, stayed on the camping area with optional electric. Electric on pre pay meter but any left over units are given back at end of stay, we used £4 over the 3 nights which included a heater on all night. Lovely views and walks direct from the site to the Monsal trail. Site facilities very clean, also a few nice touches like campers hut with coffee machine and microwave, also nice shop with some essentials. Overall really nice site with friendly staff even when they had to tow me off the grass due to weather, will be back and will recommend.
Stayed here in a camper van for 2 nights. Wonderful location for walks with the dog. Amazingly clean site and Covid safe. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Great shop for essentials and treats. Thoroughly recommend!
Just got back from a 2 night stay at Beech Croft Farm and can honestly say this was probably the cleanest campsite I’ve ever stayed on, the toilets and showers were absolutely spotless. The people who run the site are super friendly and really helpful giving us advice on local walks and places to eat. We ate at 2 local pubs whilst there, The Church Inn at Chelmorton and The Anglers Rest at Miller’s Dale, food at both places was lovely, all home cooked and piping hot, if walking to either of these wear some good footwear and take a torch if coming back at night! The site is about a 30 minute walk from the Monsal Trail, maps and advice on how to get there were available from reception. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning.
My hubby and I stayed here last weekend with our 2 dogs in a tent. It's an absolutely wonderful site! Peaceful surroundings and campsite, loads to do in the area, extremely clean and tidy everywhere, the showers/w.c were warm and immaculate, hand sanitisers all around the place, covid safe. I could go on and on with my praise. The staff were super friendly and helpful and could not do enough to make our stay a fab one We will definitely return in better weather, torrential rain whilst there ☔ 100% recommend this site!!
We've just returned from four fabulous days at Beech croft farm. We managed to get a pitch on the top level and wow the size of the pitch and the views were amazing. We were made very welcome by the lady on reception and she explained were everything was on site and were to join the Monsal trail and the walk to the pubs. The shower and toilet block was extremely clean and safe with hand gel outside and cleaning wipes inside. The showers were always hot and the push button function was no problem {just keep nudging it to keep the flow of water}. On Thursday night a pizza van comes and they are freshly made for you and delicious. There is a quite steep slope down to the showers but if its a problem just walk round and see the other campers :} The dog walking area is great but unfortunately some people seem to forget their little poo bags and just leave it!! NOT FAIR AT ALL. Would we go back..... Most defiantly, cant wait. Dawn - Mick - Tio - Zante x…
