I've booked a weekend away in August& was very excited as the hotel looks great, requesting a twin room. Booking all accepted and email back from the hotel acknowledging twin room ; I've since had an email telling me no twin rooms are available, but I can upgrade and pay for a more expensive room. I don't want to do that - I just want what was booked. Not great customer service - I'd ask the Ensana to work on their customer service a little : the hotel looks wonderful it's a shame to irritate guests before they have even arrived...

We stayed here last weekend in October. The spa facilities are lovely, staff were all really friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was wonderful. A lot of thought had gone into keeping everything Covid secure. Buxton itself is a great place to visit, the hotel is right in the centre. Over the weekend we used the spa a couple of times, visited the pavilion gardens and managed a hike when there was a break in the weather. Highly recommend

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at the Crescent. After extensive refurbishment work the whole of this hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Public rooms, restaurant and bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The Spa Centre was a delight to visit. The indoor pool which also extends to the outside was brilliant and other areas have all been treated very tastefully. We found the staff in Reception, the restaurant, bar and the Spa extremely pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Room Tip: We chose a room at the front of the hotel which had a lovely view of the park opposite.
