We stayed here for one night for my husbands birthday. Such a lovely B&B in the middle of a beautiful farm with amazing scenery. Karen was lovely and hospitable - on arrival she served us a cold refreshment and a homemade cake. She was good at offering suggestions on where to eat and where to hike. I must mention the hot tub is A MUST - it may not be well advertised on booking.com but for an extra charge it is definitely worth it plus it accompanies a bottle of wine with it. Overlooking the farm when in the hot tub and watching the sunset is one of a kind. The rooms are clean and Karen ensures that breakfast time is staggered in a bid to maintain social distancing. I would highly recommend.
The b and b is a great place to stay. We stayed in the downstairs room which was spacious with a very large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. One down side was we didn't have a nice view due to being on the ground floor and because of how the room was set out. The couple running the b and b are very pleasant. There are gorgeous views to be had whilst eating breakfast, the food was very good. The one very bad point to our stay was the rough ness of the long track to the b and b. We arrived on a motorbike and actually came off the bike at the start of the track because of the large, loose material under the wheels.
We visited for an Alpaca walk with our employees. The lady who runs Stoop Farm is lovely and very easy going. The alpacas are amazing and have such funny persoanlities. It was terrential rain and wind so they refused to walk far which was hilarious so we got to hang out with them in their barn which was really fun. After the short walk, we were took inside a beautiful cosy b&b and fed cake with cream and caramel sauce which was amazing and also given filter coofee and tea. I can't recommend visiting or staying here enough - you will receive fantastic friendly service and have a lovely time
I stayed for one night at this lovely guest house while on a business trip.I had a ground floor room which was huge and very quiet. The bed was super comfy.Really good WIFI which is essential for a business traveller.Really good breakfast. The room would ideally also suit a less mobile visitor as it is on the ground floor with a large bathroom. The directions on the website are excellent and I recommend using them to get you straight to the property and not to rely solely on SAT NAV.I would highly recommend Stoop Farm
We visited Stoop Farm today for an Alpaca Trek as a honeymoon/birthday present from my husband. Whilst waiting for another couple to join us (we got their early) we were invited into the B&B and made very welcome, as though we were actually staying there. The guide was fabulous, friendly, informative and happily chatted to us beforehand (her name escapes me now, sorry!) and told us her tales of her Inca Trail trek. The personality of each Alpaca was described and she thoroughly explained their behaviour and things to look out for. The weather was truly in our favour and enabled us to take in the breathtaking views around the farmland on our walk. I highly recommend this experience and plan to come back very soon! Thank you :)
