Didn't book it myself, but went with my parents, brothers and sisters and a handful of other friends for dinner. On arrival, we were told to go to the bar (beside house) where others in our group were. Nice bar, and watched the rugby. Menu was there with the brothers name on it for his birthday, which I liked, nice...

We checked and were offered tea - nice touch. Ruth the host was wonderful-lovely chatting and very informative as we're all the staff. The rooms are small but not unexpected. The dinner in the Forge was good. The highlight was the musical rendition by Ruth's daughters.

Welcomed here with tea/coffee, old style country house, spotlessly clean, cozy rooms an very comfy bed, no sparing in the breakfast, and very friendly staff, lovely grounds for walking, would recommend. .

We dined in Ballyglass last night, were absolutely starving on arrival. We were served by a charming and efficient young lady. Food was delicious, great choice, reasonably priced, very child friendly. We will return!

We visited here recently on a Saturday night and could not believe the wonderful food, service, and value for money. €25.00 on a Saturday evening for a three course meal, and coffee - and also a free glass of wine! The food was wonderful, sirloin steak cooked to perfection - and a heavenly bread and butter pudding for dessert! We...

My husband & I spent 3 nights in Ballyglass house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ruth & Liam & her parents are lovely people who make you feel so welcome. The breakfasts are the tastiest we ever got. The forge bar offers excellent food also. Definitely a place worth staying in. Thanks to you all. Mary & Michael

We, a family of three and a dog, stayed here for a few nights during a family visit in Tipperary. First, the essentials - room was spotless, plenty of space, bathroom was large and modern. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The building is located outside town and is very quiet; there are some grand old trees in...

What a great night's stay. Beautiful old 1760's house, with great proprietors. The attached pub (The Forge) is a brilliantly restored cartwright's workshop. It's open to the public, and we were there when Ireland was playing in the Euro, so a good local crowd was there. We had a very good dinner there, reasonably priced, a few drinks and off...

It was my first time staying in this hotel. I was really surprised by the kindness and service. Ruth is such a wonderful Lady. She insisted on opening the breakfast room to cook a full breakfast ; ever though I was the only one in the hotel. The next day more family and friends arrived as we were gathering for...
