My partner and I stayed here for one night whilst visiting Tipperary. I had email communications with the Hotel during booking which led me to think it was going to be a lovely place as the lady was so helpful and made things straightforward. Upon arrival the hotel looks great. But what made the best impression was the lady on...

There was nothing really wrong with the hotel, just that it was little outdated and our room would deserve a refurbishment. Our room was facing the parking lot, there was very old tv and the walls could really use repaint. But in general the room was big and clean, bathroom as well. It has bridge, tea and coffee. So it...

My husband and I got married in The great National Ballykisteen golf hotel and resort on April 08th 2017 we were both blown away with the treatment we received. The hotel looked absolutely amazing, the function room looked fabulous on the day and the food was to die for and the service second to none. We cannot put into words how...

The hotel itself is clean and bright and tastefully decorated, the staff are friendly and curtious. The reception room for the wedding meal was beautifully decorated but the food was very slow to come to the tables . There was plenty of waiting staff but they didn't seem to know what they were doing (. they using the snake service)-...

Stayed in the hotel for two nights, Room was ok if not very modern, staff were excellent, bar was expensive as was the food, played golf & enjoyed the course, Overall I found the place a little dull as regards bar entertainment at night & the town of tipp didn't offer much in entertainment either,

We were exploring abbey ruins all day and stayed here for the evening. My wife told the hotel that it was my birthday before we arrived. We got into our room to find a nice birthday gift waiting for us! I was actually shocked at how nice that was of them. The room and bathroom were both large and clean....

Only recently 'found' this place, and been back 3 times! The food is divine, on Thurs eve they do a 50 Euro deal, 2 courses and bottle of wine - which is good value. the quality of the food is excellent, as is the service. One small niggle is a limited menu, but I guess this is how they manage...

My wife and I stayed here while touring around south west Ireland for a week. The hotel was very nice and comfortable with friendly staff. The golf course looked very inviting when we arrived but we had not chosen the place because of it's course (this seemed the best hotel in the Tipperary area). The next day we awoke to...

Went for dinner in bar Sunday last bar food very disappointing starters were ok. My goats cheese was lovely but my mains of duck was way over cooked and dry as was my husbands steak sandwich. The other lady in our company ordered baked cod and the way it was served was atrocious and extremely off putting. A bowl with...

Really enjoyed Ballykisteen. Fabulous room with big comfy bed. Breakfast was made to order and the coffee was made to order too. Most enjoyable stay in a spacious hotel with a feeling of luxury about it.
