We went in August 2015. It was a magical experience, kids enjoyed being kids, there were no iPads no phones or tv and did not miss it. Kids enjoyed playing with other kids, playing by the stream there was a swing in the back of our yurt and another one by the stream. Kids were always dirty and wet and...

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something else. Such a welcome, friendly greeting from the owner and acres upon acres of land nestling in the bottom of the valley surrounded by woods. Tranquillity and then some. Everything on the site is as described on the website and it all works ! Everything is kept really clean...

We've just got back from a mid week stay at Hidden Valley Yurts and we wish we could have stayed for longer! At 8 months pregnant, some may think that camping isn't the ideal choice for a holiday, but this is Glamping, and Hidden Valley Yurts do it with bucket loads of style! We stayed in Yurt 1, with its...

I recently had a 4 night stay here with my young son and his father and had the best time. It was clean and cosy and facilities were excellent. what made it even better was that the owners are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need. My 3...

Thanks you so much for such a loverly review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay so much and look forward to seeing you all again. Your little lad was fantastic and a firm favourite with Tilly, she didn't want to leave your yurts front door when it was time for her to go home in the evening. Mike

What a great week we've had. Just arrived back home after 5 days of fun! Fourth year of- den building, rope swinging, marshmallow toasting, water fighting, friend making, scrabbling, fire starting, star gazing, bug screaming, cosy morning, happy hiking, highland cow hunting, dam building, paddling, pizza oven cooking, egg collecting, fairy ring adding, sun catching, wood rambling and chilling! A...

It was so good to see you all again and thank you for the Oat cakes (I followed you suggestion and they were a real treat). This was our first full season after taking over Hidden Valley Yurts and Lower Glyn Farm half way through last year. It is really fantastic to see and recognise returning faces. Tilly gets really...

This is an absolute gem! I took my 2 children - 4 and 5, along with my niece and nephew - 2 and 3, to Hidden Valley Yurts. We all had such an amazing holiday, it's very safe for children, in fact I hardly saw my 5 year old as she made a friend and would go off and play...

We stayed over the weekend, in a party with 4 other families totalling 10 adults and 11 children. We all had a wonderful time, the children loved playing in the river and exploring the farmland with Tilly the dog. The outdoor pizza oven was great fun, and we all had a really relaxing time. This was our second stay, and...

It was so good to see you again and we appreciate the fact that you wanted your friends and their families to have and enjoy the Hidden Valley experience. Everyone told me what a fantastic time they had during their stay even though the weather wasn't great, it really makes all the hard work worth while. We are continuing to...

We had the most wonderful trip and Mike couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The setting is truly idyllic, the facilities first class and little extra touches really make all the difference. There is also a gorgeous dog, Tilly, with whom we all fell in love. Perfect for the whole family, we'll definitely...

Thank you for such wonderful comments. We really want everyone who stays with us to have a relaxing and peaceful stay. The whole ethos of Hidden Valley Yurts (or HVYs as it's becoming known) is all about enjoying the countryside and unwinding. Letting the children run free with out the worry of what they are up to. Tilly is such...

Hidden Valley Yurts is an amazing location. The yurt set up has been very well thought out not only inside the yurts but the outside space too. Cooking outside but under cover and the option to eat under cover too. The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of crockery and big pans to cater for large groups. We were two...
