Very good reasonably priced hotel with very good food. On the seafront but still quiet and about a minute away from the theatre. Shower room small , larger bathrooms if the showers were over the bath. Large building so lots of rooms with good sea views. Old hotel so floorboards a bit creaky, people above me were quite loud easily...

The hotel is on the sea front and near the town centre so it has a good location. The staff are helpful but the hotel could do with an upgrade but then again it will cost more to stay. The sound insulation between rooms and corridor is very poor and I was woken up every evening for the 5 nights...

Went to the Southcliff hotel on the 19th to the 23rd of March with Edwards coaches. On arrival at the hotel did notice how big the hotel was. There was a porterage to take our cases into the hotel, also one of the staff watched as we crossed the busy road outside the hotel as some of the coach party...

Good points: Spacious room Clean Friendly staff Stunning views Super big bed TV and full bathroom ensuite Nice Cooked breakfast. (Didn't have the sausage so cannot comment on that) Price: my 5 stars are based on value for money. It is brilliant for the price!!,, I'd stay again. Negative points: it is dated, it looks like they used Sofia Petrillo...

On arrival at the hotel there was a very fast and efficient check in. Our cases were taken off the coach by the staff and delivered to our room, this was done very quickly. When entering our room it looked very clean and well kept, it had a lovely Seaview. One thing we found that the kettle was empty as...

My single room was small with an even smaller bathroom and tiny sink. Needs updating as clearly all old and tired. Shower curtain crumpled and no hot water in shower. On a plus side, breakfast was good and hotel in great location.

The Southcliff is very reasonably priced with a great breakfast, The only thing I would say about the rooms is there isn't enough level access showers for disabled people. Rooms are very comfortable and I always get a great nights sleep. Me and my son visit a few times a year for a few days and always stay here because...

Found the hotel online and was the cheapest deals but looked ok, checked some reviews and looked at the pics and thought why not! Staff were very friendly, yes the place is a bit dated but i've stayed in 4* places a lot worse than this. The room was seaview, clean and tidy, all we needed for a short break...
